Training For Redemption in 2022

Looking like we will rest a few of these boys for the Hawks game based of Ceaser report

Lambert , Graham , Grimes , Prestia and possibly Kmac/Marlion

not ideal so close to round 1

Stack missing : Hmmmmmmm

If he tweaked his ankle he wouldn't necessarily be running on it just 3 days later so no need to worry at this stage but no harm in crossing fingers anyway,
OK, you said 'walked'. Good to see he's running.

Not according to Tim Livingstone, Saturday a full dress rehearsal, but obviously anyone with a niggle won't be risked.

Tim wouldn't answer how good Melbourne is and what 'gap' is between them and the next best. Well done. They haven't proven anything yet after just 1 flag.

Training Today Tuesday:

Looks like Tuesday is the new Monday?

Anyway was a footy session of pretty much just on an hour so maybe they are going a bit lighter on the boys?

Absent :

Syd
Grimes who we know has Covid and Mansell, (who i am only guessing may be in the same boat, his absence coincided with Grimes).

Back with the main pack :
Cotch :clap2
Parker
DRioli
RCD

Did Absolutely nothing :

Prestia & Lambert walked only two laps and left the track.

Rehab :

Banks
Graham
Tigga
Kmac
Marlion

There you go I have done the roll call for the day.

**Oh and Captain Nank after a goal or was it two on the weekend thinks he is a bona fide forward :) , stayed out late with the forwards and having shots for goal and demanded the mids to kick it to him on the lead.

Cheers
Any idea what is wrong with Marlion?

Who did he hit ?
More accurate question would be who didn’t he hit.
But there was one particular VFL player from Geelong who’s surname started with M who found himself on the wrong side of a couple of Pickett specials.

He was walking not running, I said you wouldn't expect him to be running if he sprained his ankle badly or something.
If he's walking in it already then it can't be too serious whatever the issue is, he won't play this week i assume but RCD will?

I don't know who the player was but he laid a ripper tackle (or was it a bump), the guy would know he was hit, he hit the deck Marlion was barely moved

Main Training today Thursday and i'll be brief:

Still no Gimes or Mansell
No Dusty

Prestia completed full training
Cotch they seemed to be managing, sat out some drills but completed the last so suggest he is fine.
Stack back.

Graham 50% rehab 50% footy drills with main group.

Rehab: Banks, Tigga, (looks a standard hammy and not too bad), and Lambo keeps plugging away until the surgeon says the gig is up.

Covid has hit Grimesy hard. Its been over a week now. I assume Mansell has covid as well.

That's what I am guessing their absence has coincided.

Not sure he has been hit hard?, Grimes trained last Thursday didn't play Saturday, if he tested positive Friday or Sat morning which he must have as he was named in original squad then 7 day iso would end Fri or Sat so could maybe still be available for Saturday providing it was a mild case.
