Training For Redemption in 2022

Main Training today Thursday and i'll be brief:

Still no Gimes or Mansell
No Dusty

Prestia completed full training
Cotch they seemed to be managing, sat out some drills but completed the last so suggest he is fine.
Stack back.

Graham 50% rehab 50% footy drills with main group.

Rehab: Banks, Tigga, (looks a standard hammy and not too bad), and Lambo keeps plugging away until the surgeon says the gig is up.
Do you think Graham will get up for round 1?

No probably not, back related hamstring I think and has struggled to integrate fully into full training virtually all pre-season at least since they returned in January. Just when he looks close he has regressed at times. Back related issues are the pits!

Think its already been stated that Prestia's program has been modified with reductions going forward, so missing a session or two will most probably be normal for him, not meaning hes injured just reduced loads due to past injuries, guessing a few others may fit into that bracket going forward also?.

No chance for R1 going by Caesar’s training reports.
Yet to join main group for contested training.
With a proven necessity to complete a full and comprehensive preseason to be anywhere near one’s best, I fear Graham will struggle all year to reach the top of his game. Maybe till mid season to start hitting his straps.
His relentless two way running and contested work requires a massive physical output. Hope we see him join the main group as soon as possible as he needs miles in his legs

Probably needs to be taken to the local panel Beaters and strapped to a Realignment JIg and have his pelvis realigned.

With Graham & Lambert out thats 2 of our best Runners missing

Ross & Ralphsmith look like certain starters imo

Finally a comprehensive injury report from club:

Mansell was health and safety protocols and is available for selection.
RCD missed last week because of ribs, ( that was Shai's fault I reported that i thought Riley came down awkwardly on his ankle after he and Shai were in a marking contest as Shai soared into his back as Riley backing back obviously it was a knee to the ribs that had him crouched down and struggling). Available for selection this week though.

Yeah that injury report on lambo didn’t sound great. That’s a huge loss for us if he can’t get up.

Some good news. Vlastuin will be good to go for Round 1.

Lamberts injury doesn’t seem as dire as first thought.

Graham not far off from playing games. Round 2 most likely.

RCD, Mansell and Parker all fit for this weeks game.

Get Lambert right for Finals, with he & Graham seemingly missing early games Ross & RCD will get their chance.

We will most likely have 4 top 18 players missing round 1 and Carlton will only have Curnow missing.
They won't mention Graham Big V Lambert and Cotchin are missing

Not sure where you got 4 from. Vlastuin and Cotchin are both available to play.

Friday Training sheds no light on tomorrows team as there were some big absentee's and those due to be playing in the VFL practice game tomorrow were probably doling their form of Captains Run as well:
