Training For Redemption in 2022

Slobbo i think is right where we finish.
Everything would have to go right for us to be top 4 though.

Greg Williams won a brownlow being purely a handballer.
Williams was a very good kick. Was at the G one day watching a match of the day that unfortunately involved Carlton and not us. he takes possession in the middle, 2 opponents defensive side of the play go at him, he waggles his fat arse and the 2 of them get sucked into completely missing the tackle. He waddles forward and starts to prep to kick and decides Kernahan is not where he should be, tucks the ball back under his left arm, points angrily with his right to a spot for Kernahan to run to then kicks at a 45 degree angle, a magnificent pass that hits Kernahan on the chest right we pointed to him to go to.

Off his left…..which was his wrong foot. I just sat there shaking my head thinking…what a star.

Kicking was underrated because he was just so destructive with his handball, in terms of accuracy with either hand, speed to judge the hands and placement of a teammate and distance.

I didn't mind the Richmond critique by the three wise monkeys
Will our players , many 3 time premiership players , will they have the drive and manic commitment to climb that mountain again ?

We play the Dees and Dogs in the first 6 rounds , and that whole block of games is a good mix and should be a good way to start a rebound year

bring it on , I'm sure the the playing list and the Tiger Army is refreshed and ready to go

Without Lynch we don't win 2019 or 2020. Worth every cent.

His year last year was nowhere near as bad as many made out, especially considering how hampered he was.

He failed to acknowledge that Lynch was injured for a big chunk of last year. Failed to acknowledge that without Lynch we don’t win the premiership in 2019. Also played a big part in our 2020 premiership. But yeah he is overrated.

But he will be the first to claim Stringer as the best player in the game. Clueless.

Lynch was immense in the second half of the 2020 GF. Just so many Herculean efforts that left me completely understanding why he was captain at GC. The stats alone say nothing about what he did.

Dusty was Dusty, but Lynch practically forced us back into the contest with his physicality.

100% Lynch owes us sweet FA.
We owe him for coming to us.
The media have had it in for him from the first minute he decided to come to us.
*smile* them

I think he is correct by the context he was using which was salary, but I also think that's an unfair measure of a player.

But if you just lined every player up in order of wages, Lynch would be well ahead of where he would be if the line was impact on the game.
2019 & 2020 (as spook said above) he didn't do enough? 2021 was an aberration for most of our team. How's Franklin going when it comes to winning flags?

I'd say todate , he has been good for us, and we have been good for him
ledger square
Sampson Ryan would love a crack at the top grade again, Balta being trailed forward with Miller & Tarrant down back and Soldo back in the equation , so Tom , earn your place ;)

What a downer to have that boorish boofhead back on Foxtel.
The discussion and the program is always poorer for his involvement.
Unwatchable for mine.
