Training For 2023

Initials are the same KB & KB. It's far too clever for ALF.com to come up with.

Training Today Thursday:
*Below in rehab but don't worry they are just being managed to the inch of their life and the media have been buying it believe who you wat to believe for me it is my eyes.

Prestia
Grimes
Lynch
Graham
Sonsie
Banks
Colina
 Smith
Gibcus

Nank and Hopper did not do a lot and didn't participate in 30 min match play.
I am liking that list Caeser

Tells me that the club is being very cautious with players that have niggles or are suspect to soft tissue injuries and giving them some light days to prime them. the following 5 players are the ones that would be managed and good to see
Prestia
Grimes
Lynch
Graham
Sonsie

Problem is that isn't how rehab works. One light day when you are a bit sore or tired is fine, several days like that and you are injured.

If they are sore or have a niggle with players like grimes / Prestia im thinking they will be extra cautious and give them atleast a week this time of the year

It's not the way it works I'm afraid. Yes, you will watch their loads closely and manage the levels they do and they will have the odd session off as needed but you don't just cut the work back completely for multiple sessions unless they are injured. To do that would be counter productive and greatly increase the likelihood of injury upon return to training.

The way @caesar has described Prestia's loads lately he has definitely had an injury of some description.

Strong mail
Its Bradtke given the spot.
Therefore Narkle hasn't got a spot.
So he is Spotless

Great report :) thanks Caesar :).. yeah how did Bradtke go ?
Bradtke took one good mark and goaled i think.

Miller is Lynch in our match sim set-ups and was against Tarrant, did a couple of good things and most importantly wasn't out marked and brought the ball to ground.

I maybe over thinking it but I haven’t heard one glowing comment on this lad , as in clunked some great contested marks , jagged a nice G from boundary ,,,been zilch,,,not that I’ve heard a thing to contrary either , I just I’ve been hanging to hear just a glimmer yet nothing
edit ,,,Ty Caesar just saw first comment

How is Riewoldt looking? Similar to 2022 or looking older? If he has a year like 2022 then it's more than good enough
Riewoldt seems to be tracking at 2022 form to me, no noticeable drop off anyway.

Very worried about Meatball. Heard at the end of last year his body was shot and he’d struggle from here on in. Already he seems to have issues again.

I think anything Prestia gives us from now on is a bonus. He just can’t be relied upon.

If can get 15 games out of him plus finals we should be doing cartwheels.
