I reckon having so many unknowns in this draft is the issue. If you haven't seen them play, how do you offer someone a two year guaranteed contract, when list sizes are shrinking? Better to promote rookies of known quantities to fill your senior list, and take kids with very high chance of success, be it this year or next year once you've seen them play.

If he plays to form Port if they are fair dinkum should push the top bracket again next year, he will make a big difference to them especially on the narrower Adelaide Oval.

Now Carlton has set the market at pick 8 for Saad...we've got to be asking for a top 5 pick for Higgins.

Essendon is one club I would never bother trading with.

They get their players to nominate the clubs they want to go to so they can have some leverage is what I'm guessing cos everyone of their players has nominated a club to go to.

Yet they still get clubs falling for it and coughing up.

Chop Frawley thats the biggest act of desperation from a football club ive seen in a very long time.

He will do nothing at North with the side they will put out there they are the wrong club for him.

Probably a player that Geesook or St Kilda should've looked at.
