Trade talk 2019/20

Saying that the Saints inquiring after Chip Frawley now !!

How many list spots they got at St Kilda, Geelong and Carlton.
That's just it! No-one knows. Including AFL head office. Or is there something quite dodgy going on here hatched by Gil and Hock?

Seriously. How are clubs making these offers and list decisions? On what basis?

TABevenson could be headed to LolNorf ................................................stay tuned.
Collingwood is having a stock take sale and on the verge of a salary cap crisis, but stupid clubs are coming to there rescue.
They could end up with 3 picks in the top 12 this year.
That makes me sick.
Clubs shouldve been offering 3rd or 4th rounders for there players.
They would've had no option by 7pm tomorrow but to off load them.
They will lose TAB, Phillips and Treloar, they will clear cap space, sign up Milocheck and Degoey and end up with 3 top 12 picks

Maybe after the top 6 or so, no one wants any pucks this year. So pick 8 for Saad, 11 for Stevenson, etc are really junk picks this year? A splash of mayo maybe, but you get my drift.

I hope you are wrong my Dear Zips, but somehow they will probably pull it off.

TAB, Treloar are 2 of their best 10 players though so they will not get away unscathed.

They must be paying high amounts of the wages if they are demanding high picks for bottom priced kids as new draftees.

They will need to clear another one or 2 next year also if they are that stretched.

Which is Pick 28. Thats a great deal for North being as that pick will probably end up in the 30's. Basically swapped Shaun Higgins for Stephenson. Massive win for North.

Meanwhile, #LOLNorf are all in on this draft. Greg Miller may as well be back there calling out the names as it will be a lottery like the old days
And alot of talk now that the draft is not as great as on first glance with so many academy and father sons to convolute it, might not be the best draft to be going hard at.

GCS had a draft like that with their first they had a million picks and still couldnt nail the quality as it was a pretty ordinary draft.

We took Bobble which was a good get at #15 or whatever it turned out to be.

At least North gave Collingwood pick 105 for him :rotfl1 :rotfl1 :rotfl1 :rotfl1View attachment 11203
I think it was personality or personal issues (with Figgy)or (behavioural) that may have contributed to Marley getting moved on from Vic Park for such recompence I am happy to be corrected here if I am wrong.

Marleys footy suffered at the Kangas with them being a poor outfit.

TAB could face the same issues at Arden Street that Marley did leaving a good side for a rabble that might expect more from him than he can deliver..

Now is the time for us to load up on young talent - let the other contenders pretenders fight over dads army - I mean getting Frawley out of retirement. :rotfl2
