Agree, we could've got 80% of his output from Ellis at 50% of his price, without the teething pains. I'd love to rub Collingwood's face in it but this would be a reach.Dodgy hammies, significant contract.
Unlike Lynch, I think Treloar would be the one that upsets the apple cart.
Trealor wants to go to a team in Melbourne that are in their premiership window.Where are Lol North?
They are normally throwing the kitchen sink at players to come to them and still being rejected.......
Yet here is a Melb club throwing a quality player out who wants to stay in Melb, and lol nth are silent?

Doesn’t leave many teams to pick from and those teams dont have the cap space unless they move a couple of their own players out.
Oh hang on, that's us....There is only one team in the Premiership window

I agree for uncontracted players there should be arbitrator , base trade value on contract size plus bf finish . It’s patently unfair that clubs are entitled to root around players that are off contractThe trade period is a waste of time.
Unless the AFL consider using mediators, this is going to go on for the next 100 years.
Fantansia is worth a pick between 35-45.
Cameron is worth 2 first rounders.
Dunkley 1 pick between 10-20 is enough. 5th best mid at Footscary.
Higgins nth. Pick 40-50
Higgins Rich, pick 20-30
Sad pick between 20-30
Finding a place in the 22 would not be a problem. Every week during the season there are players either injured, suspended, out of form, needing a rest or on paternity leave.Agreed.
Without insight to him as a person and his situation, i cant judge if he would fit in and not upset our applecart.
So i,ll happily leave that to the club. If the club says no then its good enough for me.
Its point 4 thats interesting.
I see Treloar as a strong running inside out mid. First hands. So in the Prestia mold.
Adding him to the side would release Cotch for a lighter workload and less contested focus.
Dusty also forward more.
But who goes out of the 22?
Is the squeeze on the hff Rioli and George who do so much defensive running? Hard to see as that would unbalance the side. Ditto for the wingers.
Maybe its Shedda /Cotch who shift to a back flank and we return to a 7 man defense.
Any which way its tough to see who is replaced from the 22
I'd love to turn up to a place where I was hated and told I wasn't wanted if I was costing them $900 K and hurting them ... but thats me.that was my thinking too. All i've seen in the media is that Pies willing to pay some of his contract for year 1. Not all 5 yrs and it gets higher in yr 2 and 3! Unless Treloar also takes a paycut i can't see a trade happening. But he has the upper hand. He can stay, get paid but probably walk into a club that knows he isn't loved. That would be hard.
I would love to know what happens if he does decide to stay. Is degoey gone then? Whats going to give?
There's a fair bit of Gary Rohan in Stevo.Stephenson appears similar to Butler, simple style and good when he has a straight line to the goals but devoid of tricks.
Agreed. The industry seriously over rates Saad. He is barely better than Markov. Pick 8 for Saad is a steal for the bombers.

That's where you bring the young up n comers into the side to both get a look at what they can provide plus give them some opportunity to grow n develop some experience.Finding a place in the 22 would not be a problem. Is that the physios name? There's a fair bit of Gary Rohan in Stevo.
Saad runs fast off half back then tuns it over ,The industry seriously over rates Saad. He is barely better than Markov. Pick 8 for Saad is a steal for the bombers.

Loved when Rioli nailed him in a Dreamtime.Saad is a very lazy player. Terrible defensive efforts too. He only stands out with his pace off half back and is a decent kick but nowhere worth a top 10 pick.

It was all about Saad and his little legs until Dan swooped.
