Have one in Race 2 at Bendigo tomorrow, The Ceremony - would be rapt if she could finish 2nd! From what she has shown so far is limited and couldn't recommend her to anyone - but have had a small each way bet just in case ......

I did have the joy of making an unfortunate's day yesterday thanks Mamzelle Tess! Will post the Unco's bet on Friday.

In 40 years of following nags, Thats probably the most honest tip ive ever recieved :hihi

And good onya for the altruism 44.

Hope you bet the place saturday ;D

I expected written by to be half the odds in the coolmore.

He will be my only bet on a very difficult flemington meeting on saturday.

I also dont think its too early to open our cup discussions.

Ive tried to find a reason why best solution wont complete the double and the 2 miles is the only query and thats a query for all the main chances. Hes classy (off a hat trick of g1s), tough, relaxed, well steered, has a kick and really wants to beat the second horse.

As much as you can have a special in a 2mile handicap, i think he is a bit of a special

Don't know whether i'm a slow learner, i'm definitely a fast forgetter :D :cutelaugh

I've been doing ok on the punt of late, but not with Multi's/All Ups. So tomorrow i've taken an all up, Verry Elleegant, Thinkin' Big and I Am Excited, all for the win, it's paying $25

Good luck on the punt everyone.

Mega keen on a couple on Sat:

Race 1 - Wild Planet - Wow massive overs. Flying ATM. WILL beat the fav.

Race 3 - Osborne Bulls - Drawn perfectly to swoop down the outside rail. Will give Runson windburn.

Race 4 - A Prince of Arran - Can win the Cup. Let alone this. Loved the first up run in Aus.

Derby - Stars of Carrum - $10 - Num, Num, Num. Cannot believe the price. Far better run than Aramayo that everyone is raving about. Bred to stay, can sprint, Can win.

Will be in the Members if anyone going. Love Derby Day. Bring it on!

Don't be put thinking by the big price Sat thinking it was a fluke. Set for this. Out of Fiorente, will stay, yet can sprint.

Got $51 on him when he won last start.
I missed the big Derby odds, but i'm on at $26, Fiorente is also the sire of the 1st emergency Alessandro. Might be a sneaky chance if he gets a start, his first preparation might make it a bridge too far though.

The Ceremony ran as expected at Bendigo yesterday, just too short. She needs every bit of 2000m so going to have to be patient with her.

The 2 in today, Queen Leonora and I'm Buxom both should go very close. QL is very short - both in fields of 7 (or 6) so each way not really an option. Have had a crack at both. Might take the Daily Double also!

Be Instant in the first at MV tomorrow night - bit better field but she has talent and I reckon good each way chance.

For the weekend like A Prince of Arran, Written By and Shillelagh.

In the Cup like Muntahaa - if you haven't seen its run in the Ebor (usually a very good lead in race for internationals) do you self a favour and have a look. Currently $13 - great each way bet.

For the Unco's will have $5 each way Rosehill Race 8 no 9 Lord Von Costa.

Good punting all

Well done T44, finally got that win.

I reckon Muntahaa was flattered by that Ebor win. Didn't beat much and other form not great.

Cruisy win. Easy money.

Agree, JB, on the Ebor. But he does get in lightly but inclined to risk him.

At last a win, albeit at short odds. Queen Leonora will be better with the blinkers off and over more ground, plenty of fun times ahead. I’m Buxom was average, at best, held her breath for a long time and will be better next time with a tongue tie on. Has good ability but didn’t show it today.

Be Instant tomorrow night (race 1) should go very well and definitely each way.

History tells us the Ebor is a good guide to the Cup so will stick with my prognostication.

For those with access to TAB in Vic they have inflated odds Friday afternoons - you get an extra point or two for all races in Melb, Syd, Bris & Adel - worth the wait if you like to find something at a little value.

Have had the $5 each way for the Unco's on Lord Von Costa Rosehill R8 horse 9 @ $34/$6.

Off to the Valley soon then a big day at Flemington tomorrow.

Good punting

NSW TAB bloke must have had 10 schooners at lunchtime and I swooped on $4.8 about Written By. saved on Osborne Bulls.

Couldn't have had a better run though, Bryser. Saved ground the trip then the seas parted and he waltzed through a gap you could drive a Mac through.

Good horses take the gaps Spooker. He then attacked the line better than anyone.

Time will tell. Think he's a bet to nothing E/W.

Dropped a bit in the odds but still my pick for the Vic Derby.

Faaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggg...........

That's exactly what i'm saying. I had Extra Brut All in Fixed odds in the Caulfield Guineas which he didn't end up running in,
and Stars of Carrum fixed odds for the win in the Derby :( :(

Had my nose in front from Osborne Bulls.

Backed Shillelagh and watched Jmac weave his magic. what a rider.

Stuck with him EW in the derby (another hot ride)

I'll stick with him on Le Romain

then I am Excited.
