Thoroughbred racing

I've had a bit on yours Jack, but there's one he might find too good tomorrow, so I've had a bit more on her.

Pretty Punk.

Here she is two starts ago braining a maiden field on a heavy track over 1400:
http://www.theracessa.com.au/show_video.php?track=30720&date=2016-09-16&race=1&trial=no

Here she is last start in Listed company over 1800, again proving too good:
http://www.theracessa.com.au/show_video.php?track=30072&date=2016-10-08&race=7&trial=no

Big improver, has speed but also bred to stay and has shown the ability to handle all going.

By the way, $61 available for All Out of Love in the Derby with Ladbrokes. $34 with Sportsbet, the tightarse, lily-livered chickenhearts.

My mum's about to give Sportsbet a slap on Facebook. ;D

Miles of Krishan... Lightly-raced 4yo Eurell mare. 6/1. Lahqua form (a length off). You might be on to something there, spook.

Very impressive, spook. She's a little professional. She's here to punch up the sissy boys. If she slaps them around, or is competitive with one that turns out to be progressive, she goes into the Oaks a very likely prospect. I can see why you like her.

* Turns out she's not nominated for the Oaks but is for the Vase on Saturday. Interesting. She is smart. Good spot.

FWIW my bloke's not necessarily a sissy. He's more a baby. He may be more an autumn colt. But he profiles like a Dabs/Hayes classics type. And the 75m is what it's about for me. Flemington horse. Stayer with some zoom. He is clearly their second stringer, behind Seaburge for glamour, but not necessarily for stamina.

Pakistan Star was given no chance. Jumped okay and the anchors were pulled on. Absolutely motored home but Chadwick hit the gas pedal too late, probably under instruction. Beast of a horse with a freak turn of speed, finishes quicker than a Tiger supporter's September dreams.

Slaughtered, RFC. Historically significant ride for its incompetence.

Agree, I like him. I jumped on the $61 for the Derby, which is no longer available.

Damn you to hell! :hihi

Here's Pakistan Star's run if you wanna look, punters (Race 11) - http://racing.hkjc.com/racing/info/meeting/Results/english/

If we're any good and we're on the job we should settle closer. It's time the horse participated in a race. No more of this settling last *smile*.

I've lost track - who are we meant to be backing?

Geelong Classic (formerly Derby Trial)

Spook likes Pretty Punk.

I like All Out of Love.

Geez thought it was gunna win at the top of the straight Jack.

Something on Kinema in the Cup for leysy.

All Out of Love had the dream run but didn't have the strength to run it out. Maybe autumn as you say Jack. Good news is that $61 is probably $81 now.

Pretty Punk had every chance and I had a sneaky bit on Hollywood Mo. Nearly a great result.

Also on Kinema Leysy, as well as Oceanographer. Have loaded up on Miles of Krishan.

Symons. Gun money rider. Great get, Spook. Got knocked out of the quad in the 3rd leg but had just yours, Lane and Melham in the last. Your mare will go on. One of Murray Johston's got beat behind her last time in the bush and went straight to group company and was absolutely smashed in the betting. Ended up being a barnstorming 2nd behind French Emotion so MoK is proving to be a very handy form line.

On the Hayes in the the Derby trial, it appeared to pull its head off all race to my eye. Looked green too. It can improve sharply and given it looked the winner on the turn I wouldn't be ruling it out in the derby just yet. I doubt Walker will give it a squeeze at the start next time. Obviously the Geelong Classic is a lot weaker than the other races like the Vase and that new Caulfield 750k race, but I don't think much of the 3yo middle distance colts at this stage. A soft draw, a smother next time for All Out of Love and I'll be on at the cricket score odds. Unless Walker is engaged elsewhere and Seaburge ends up there.

I had the trifecta with winner and the field if he'd run 1-2. Counting the money at the 300m, Bryan. Weakened badly. We'll see. I might be very interested if Dabs gives us a lead on the Derby.

The Cup didn't help me. Dayemm!

Boom! Took $7 last night, even more at $5.50 today. Jumped $3.50 and won like it!

Well played, spookest. Smashed them.

Bottomless in betting. Bottomless. Absolutely out for the run and given a hard one close to the speed. Weakened badly from the 200m. I'm still very interested, Gyps.

Do your form for wet tracks, PREnders. Valley of Dampness. (Actually I could go one of them ATM. I'm too old for more than one.)

Meanwhile.

Back to six furlongs. (Can't get seven.) In second tier company. (Not good enough for first.) At the Valley. (Short sprint.) On a wet track. (Sore feet and needs help.) We have a rider. (D. Lane.)

$51.

Race 3 Saturday - Zamzam

That's how we want her to run.
