Re: Thoroughbred Horse Racing [Merged]

Sadly, Confessional had a bleeding attack and will be side lined for 3 months. He was fighting fit and even though he was 3 wide, Corey thought he was a real chance at the top of the straight (and then he bled) :'(

Bleeding Attack and a breakneck speed ruin our chances

Confessional although three wide for most of the journey loomed up to challenge in the straight but then tragedy struck and the fine horse had a bleeding attack.

Liveandletdie charged to the front early in the race and had nothing left in the tank when the whips were cracking. Hoop didn’t rate his charge too well IMO.

Heart Of Dreams unlucky 2nd brings home a small fish

Heart of Dreams, HappyTige’s selection on the weekend, looked all over the winner at the 100 metre mark – but a bloody Melbourne Cup winner came from nowhere to just pip him. A good place dividend of $2.44 saw a return of $12.20 a win of $2.20. This is enough to get HappyTige in the chair next week but unfortunately something has cropped up for HappyTige and he will not be in a position to do the form and make a selection. (Hope you and yours are alright HappyTige and if we can help give us a yell!)

Mk33’s selections Miles Above ran a very creditable 2nd to a top horse in Zoomin and Lady Lynette simply ran out of steam at the 150 metre mark.

Watch out Rosy, all guns blazing this week.

Good luck Rolls. I'd love you to cement your champion crown.. Good luck to everyone else having a bet this weekend too.

Hope you're coming along well happytige. :hearton

On another note what do people think about the 11 year old Takeover Target being prepared for a return to racing? I hope his body is up to it. Would be very upset if he met a bad fate in the chase for a few more dollars.

Thanks RT for the chance.

i will put $10 on Shamrocker in the Guineas 2moro. Mr 5 horse 2.

Good luck Rosy and happy punting guys. Tore the bicep off the bone trail bike riding the other day (middle age men, motorbikes and egos are not a good mix) so will have plenty of time to sit idle and watch the races for a few weeks.
