Thomson Dow

We have a Mickey's girlfriend's namesake at the club already, shouldn't be hard to lure him in.

It is hard to believe that we persisted with Collier-Dawkins and yet Dow has not really had much of an opportunity. I thought his game was good on the weekend. I hope he also gets some continuity so that we can assess where he is at.

Balta, Baker, Pickett, Ross. And maybe now cream of Sum Thom Dow. These are Clarke wins.

Watched on tv, from what I saw nothing to write home about today.
On what attributes was his recruitment made, I wonder?

Saw him a couple of times today waiting for the ball to come to him and opposition ran away with it
Prefer Sonz MJ Coulthard ahead of him

Reckon he's been pretty good the last 2 weeks without being a star. He's still only 21. Pretty sure this is the last year on his contract and I'd give him at least another year.

16 touches, 6 contested, 4 tackles thought he was serviceable more so early.

Theres a few out the door before him so he gets another year and i'd like a block of 8-10 games for his confidence and a better sample size

Kicking seems to be well below average. If he is to play for us next year it should only be as a rookie.

Really disappointed with his second half today after a solid first half. Not fit enough to run out a full game, only medium in leg speed & poor kick (missed easy open goal). Jury out.

Would give him one more year at best.

Seemed to be content to spectate for much of the second half. Maybe some of the first. It looked like immaturity. He's 21yo.

Looked a delist at times. Maybe he can only run 10kms? Mini is a standards guy.

I'll be interested to see how he handles this.

To date, has had similar career output to the likes of RCD and Martyn. Both of them were delisted at the end of their fourth year and I’m struggling to see why Dow should be any different.

We can and must do better.

He's been the one given a go in the last two games. What's that say for our youngster depth? Big worry.
