The great Malcom young has passed away.

Australia’s greatest band by a long way imho.

I agree wholeheartedly CC. Indeed Australia's greatest band (IMHO also the world's greatest band) and Malcolm Young was the driving force.

Yesterday was a very sad day indeed and made even sadder by how ill he was over the past few years.

MMM in Melbourne played AC/DC all day yesterday. It was a fitting tribute.

Gillian Rolton - just watched the video of her amazing effort at Atlanta - staggering mental strength. Watching her fall the second time, and will herself back on her horse knowing she has broken ribs and a broken collarbone is inspirational. RIP

Well mentioned Jazz.

Im no feminist or womens libber but absolutely not enough was made of her courage and mental strengtrh to do what was needed for her team and ultimately her country on the biggest stage for her sport.

Huge effort huge sacrifice huge reward.

RIP Gillian Rolton.

RIP also Malcolm Young not many can leave behind such impact or legacy on the world in their field that will outlive the individual.

George & Malcolm Young have left a massive legacy in Australian music. They've made an incredible contribution to Aus music, unmatched by any one.

Maybe it's just that with the advent of television and the era of celebrity there are many more well-known people than before, who are now reaching an age where they're more likely to shuffle off.

Charles Manson

No peace for you.

Can't believe how this happens:

Manson was originally sentenced to death, but his sentence was commuted to life with the possibility of parole after California invalidated the state's death penalty statute in 1972.

You can’t believe the State would decide to stop killing people?
