I never was a big MJ fan ( Prince is the one from that era 4 me ) , but it’s incredible what Quincy Jones achieved with him and other artists. An absolute titan, a true legend and one of my all-time musical heroes. Most remember him for his pop producer prowess, but he was an absolute beast as a big band arranger too! Great jazz Trumpet player well as a composer, obviously. Most of his movie soundtracks were awesome, too.R.I.P. to an absolute legend of popular music.
