Thank you. Trapper and Francis must have only been in their 60s or early 70s. Henry and Frank too.

So young.

Have just read that The great Aussie singe Jeff St John died last week.
He had a great voice.

RIP Jeff

Sad to hear. Did well to reach 76 in his condition. I can't believe how there is still no cure for MND.

Sad news re Hawking.

But considering he suffered from ALS which takes most sufferers a hell of a lot earlier than it took him he had a good innings.

ALS, Huntingtons, MS, MD, all insidious and cruel conditions.

Insidious condition, Hawking i believe had a slightly different form of ALS which was a slower progressing type.

Weirdly enough his affliction and disease process leading to his being chair bound and unable to talk or move no doubt increased his world wide appeal and his recognition.

Whilst a brilliant mind and a very celebrated individual in his field, it is imho his affliction that helped his rise in popular culture and increased his status amongst those who had never heard of him or known of his life or work.

Being cast on the Simpsons and of course as a semi regular appearer and butt of gags on the Big Bang Theory helped more of the world learn about Professor Hawking.

RIP

Darrell Eastlake. I always just think of Billy Birmingham’s version when I think of Eastlake.

So it was Alzheimer's that phased him out of the media spotlight in recent years. Great voice and caller. RIP Darrell.

And Milos Forman, director of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Amadeus, Man on the Moon, The People vs Larry Flynt...

A great of Hollywood.
