The Official "RFC Coaching Position" Discussion Thread

Nixon was there ? Explains the 4 hours I guess, but it's surprising Nixon was there unless they were talking contracts.

Is it normal to retain a manager on the day of a job interview and then bring him along?

Why was Ricky Nixon there? He can't have driven, so he wasn't there to give Ken a lift home?

Managers usually help you sort out stuff like remuneration and contract terms.

Where was Nixon TOT?

Well if Nixon was there that seals it.

Wonder how Hutchy didn't see that?

I guess it is Welcome to Tigerland Ken Hinkley!

Saw him with my own eyes. Hutchy standing there shivering, behind him were a group of business types walking out, Benny Gale, some others, Ken Hinkley and Ricky Nixon.

Scott is a very integral type of bloke with good values and a very sharp football brain.

Their process was laughable, but in my opinion they got a very good man for their club.

Hmmm think I was one of the first on here to be giving Scott big raps (so i agree with you and rate him also) but this is very risky by North considering how they went about it.

4 clubs have overlooked Hardwick, some going back to lack of experience only a couple and fours years out of the game for him. Scott is two years out of the game. There is no doubt he will be learning on the job his first couple of years more than most.

Scott still highly impresses me, but I really hope he has not got too ambitious and North too desperate. He'll need to be more than a good man though from all reports he is all ready head and shoulders above Wallace, but how hard is that? LMAO.

Methinks this one will end in jubilation or heartache, though that said, what AFL story doesn't? :hihi

PS: If Scott brings his brother to North i will completely go off him. Heard plenty bad about his brother as a coach.

I thought that bloke was Craig Cameron?

LOL @ Hutchy camping outside the meeting in the bins for 4 hours and they just walked past and ignored the pest. :rofl :rofl

they didn't even give him a bite - a sign RFC has had enough of some of his stuff?? Just a question, no inside knowledge, but in the past they usually have acknowledged the toe-rag and given him a sound bite

Hinkley also wasn't in the group.

Well what?

Heard of the law of probability? You were bound to get one right eventually!

Ignore him mate, wouldn't know his head from his arsenal.

Oh ;)

It was dark, a fleeting glimpse but not many have that mop of curly hair.

I could be wrong but I don't think so.

It was Cameron, I am positive.

Hinkley also left by vehicle from the underground car park.

Actually we may have read this wrong.

What if the interview did finish early, but they saw Hutchy trolling out the front, and thought:

"lets let this prick freeze for another hour. how about we put our feet up, order a pizza, sink a few brews, and watch the cricket?"

I saw Gale, Free, Cameron and another three none of which were Nixon or Hinkley
