Is it just me or has Scott got a massive melon?!

He's sure as hell got one hell of a lisp. That would p!ss me off constantly having to listen to him.

Fair dinkum, what a flog fest this is. Jim and his new bum chum on the Footy Show together. Nearly cringeworthy.

Hutchy about to come on the The Footy Show with an update but Hinkley is apparently still being interviewed.

Looks like James Wannabe Eddy is trying his best.

I can see him chasing Oath towards his car firing question after question now.

Meeting just ended, obviously no decision as yet. A 4 hour meeting apparently.

Hardwick is apparently not happy with how North handled their process.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Matthew Richardson to Hutchy outside at 11:10pm doing the live cross

"I hope it's cold out there" :clap :rofl

Scott is a very integral type of bloke with good values and a very sharp football brain.

Their process was laughable, but in my opinion they got a very good man for their club.

Hutchy knows nothing, it is quite funny. As I had previously said, Hinkley was to meet tonight, the board members will have the weekend to think of the decision at one of the board members house, then a presentation of the final two will be done to the board, and a decision to be made sometime next week.

The one thing is though, a four hour meeting with Hinkley when Hardwick, Richardson and Rawlings went for about 2 hours each?

Hmmmm.

Expects that a decision wont be made until mid to late next week. Hardwick has been offered a 5 year deal by Port, first 2 as senior assistant last 3 as head coach, Port want an answer ASAP.

Wasn't this the same situation with Wallace? His interview went longer and was unofficially decided as the coach.

Its not uncommon with interviews - you tend to talk more and push for more detail out of the candidates you are interested.

The ones I wrote off I tended to wrap up as quickly as was polite.

Probably just once I'd like to see another club apart from us reap the consequences of poor governance though.

Indicates to me that Hinkley is probably the one.

Yeah I know. I had a 3.5 hour interview a couple of years ago which ended with the GM and I conversating like close mates, only to find that someone less experienced got the job.

Yeah but I would assume that had more to Wallace talking crap for most of the allotted time than anything else.

He had no other competition.

In all seriousness, yeah has me thinking maybe there was a bit of personal details being discussed.

4 hours is a very long interview. Especially when you consider the others didn't get anywhere near that time.

Very interesting it is.

LOL @ Hutchy camping outside the meeting in the bins for 4 hours and they just walked past and ignored the pest. :rofl :rofl

Wallace must have brainwashed / hallucinated them with that spin.

I agree Bobby. It seems like Hinkley's unofficially the one.

Hinkley is an ex car salesman right ? 4 hours, what's the bet the coaching sub-committee have all put down deposits on a new vehicle to take us forward.

Is it normal to retain a manager on the day of a job interview and then bring him along?

Why was Ricky Nixon there? He can't have driven, so he wasn't there to give Ken a lift home?

Managers usually help you sort out stuff like remuneration and contract terms.
