Why?

We've been handed the oppurtunity to do it in our own time now.

If there are still final interviews to be done, and a board decision to be made. We can do it in our own time.

Getting it right, is more important than the announcement.

spot on mel, i'm eager to know but there is no rush now, they can annouce it after round 22 if they want.

Trust me, it's out of Hinkley or Hardwick.
Thanks Boss. Not fussed with either.

In saying that pressure must now be on Hardwick to land the Richmond job. Otherwise he is going to end up like Royal, Bond etc etc.

I read somewhere here that Brain Taylor yesterday said Scott was favored for the north job, did he say anything re us?

I know there has been a lot of 'mail' and 'birdies' flying around with information. I just want to add that someone told me that Hinkley is the man.

My birdy told me that Tezza was coming back...

...so I feed him to the cat
Nice work davidrodan and hopefully your cat ate that birdy slowly... very very slowly... ;D

So far I've heard that Richardson had the job, Hinkley had the job and Hardwick has been told he had the job. Waiting until there is an official announcement from the club.

You're forgetting Buckley, Sheedy, Matthews, Laidly and Malthouse all at some time being ;) to get the job

Knowing what we are like as a club "leaking" information, this would have to indicate that a decision hasn't been made yet.

Hopefully Caro knows and will spill the beans tonight :)

i said last night scott had the gig at the roos
I also said hardwicks head
Was not in the game i was rite wrong team
From my sources jason dunstall is playing with hardwick hes helping jade and is pretty much coping damiens presentation and given it to jade to keep hardwick at hawks

Gary would have stuck to his process come hell or high water. Good on him for doing so. We are now in the home stretch, with really only 3 still seriously in contention. Don't mind which of the three gets it but hope who ever gets it goes into trade week hard..

Bowden, Brown, Johnson, Pettifer and Simmonds to be told to retire, if they havn't already.

Hughes, Oakley-Nicholls, Pattison, Raines to be told to look elsewhere.

Coughlan, Mcmahon, Moore, Newman, Riewoldt and Tuck to be told that there is a possibility the may not be at Richmond in 2010.

The big silverback helping with a presentation involves smashing the computer as the files are 'inside'

Jack has gone under the radar. He has a fundamental flaw in his game which is his lack of speed. If someone offered a top 8 pick, or an under 23 midfielder or ruckman, who can run and kick, then yes.

He's our only decent KP forward at the moment and he's only 20 year's old, will be a very good player. Would want to be a very good pick for us to give him away. If anything he has proved he's been worth the pick #13 we used on him being the best KP in his draft so far and he has outperformed Hansen - #2 by a long way. I would do everything I could to keep him, personally.

Anyways we're going off topic. ;)

just found out scotty chose the roos over us thats why he was eliminated
He said they had bettnfer young players and could improve
While ours were already at there best
And he wants to be an educational coach he thought he could teach the roos more

Kidding yourself moments. If Jack is such a dud, then no team would offer a top 8 pick for him.

And any player we would get offered for him would in NO way compensate us for the loss of Jack. Our forward line is already incredibly dysfunctional...and you want to throw away the only real shining light we have of the tall forward variety?
