The Official "RFC Coaching Position" Discussion Thread

On the flip side though, you would think Geelong would not want to lose and integral part of their coaching structure during the most important part of the year. Unfair to expect someone to come in and pick up the slack at that time of the season.

Hardly going to gain any ground breaking secrets that he hasn't already put in his plays list.

As soon as he is appointed he becomes the opposition.

IF we were playing finals and David King got the North job, would you want him throughout the final series?

I would just be over the moon (at making the finals that is) forget about David King.

Personally I wouldn't have an issue as we are not likely to be finals contenders next year, and I doubt there is much about Geelong he doesn't already know

I suppose it will depend on how valuable Bomber views his input into match day coaching. But it may also be the case that the Tigers will want him full time from the final siren of round 22.

It's amazing how none of us have any inside info.We should have a nearest the pin & try & pick who we think will get the gig

He was backing away from his Hardwick to North claim. Said Hardwick is North's preferred candidate yet Hardwick's preferred club may be Richmond.

That's why all of a sudden Scott is North's preferred.

Hardwick has told them "I will coach the Tigers, but not you thanks!"

Can you beleive it?

He must have rocks in his head!

Yep, poor list, poor management and no supporters.

If we don't do something soon to ensure the children of those that remember 1980 hang around to be Tigers supporters, we'll be in North's position but about 2020 latest.

Wrong. There are more Tiger jumpers at Auskick than other teams. We Tigers fans must be good breeders.

My mail is that one candidate was told before Saturday that Rawlings was out of the picture. This candidate was very confident of his chances. The candidate's surname has an H in it. His first name ends in an N.

Well, at the Auskick age we can still bribe them with ice creams and what not. Give them 10 years and if we've done nothing it'll be tough to hang onto them.

Very cruel TBH, very cruel!

Apparently Richmond will announce their new Senior Coach in 10 days time. As to who it is, we'll have to wait and see, but they are in for one hell of a rollcoaster ride in coming to Richmond and they are going to have to be as tough as nails to get the job done and this club up and running like it should be.

And no future.
Who, Richmond or North?

If we don't fix up this mess relatively quickly then there may well be no future for Richmond either.
