Maybe because he was playing injured. Honestly there has been a fair bit of reporting on the fact that Beams told Malthouse he wasn't right to play, dunno why you want to come up with conspiracy theories.

Yes I know, after the Presti scenario everytime a player is dropped from now on it will be because the player asked to be. God bless the saintly beings.

The Zips round up!

Stop Swan your half way there,
Reid was injured
Jolly couldn't get off the ground
Davis is a disaster
Wellingham, mr invisible
Didak, goodnite & farewell
Ball, gets a kick in the ass and that's all for him.
Toovey & Dawes are RFC quality
Penderbury. Very good footballer
Maxwell, man him up and he is gone
Harry ohh no

After a loss in grand final is see what the players made off.

Has anyone ever done a Chris scott (coached a flag in season 1 before). It kinda reminds me of Joyce getting a loan of allan Jeans team and winning a flag (1991?? )

Thought I heard them say on the TV that its happened 13 times before.

Elms & Howson formed the only dual-coach arrangement in VFL/AFL history (discounting Hird/Thompson!)
Barker was caretaker coach for 6 games (including two finals) in 1922 prior to his first full season
Diggins was stand-in playing coach for 2 games at South Melbourne in 1935

...see the barrackers a-crying...

As Scumwood GF defeats go, this was a ripper.

I've had the wonderful pleasure of being around for 11 of 'em: 1960, 64, 66, 70, 77, 79, 80, 81, 2002, 03 and now this one.

The fun and pleasure just never gets old or stale.

What an amazing story of riches to rags in one season, what has happened to this guy? Last year he was booting goals like Maradona and this year he looks like third rate hack. I reckon Collingwood may even look at moving him on, one one wonders what he'd be worth?

He isn't well liked outside the walls of the westpac centre,
After today's efforts he wouldn't be worth a Farmer trade.
I can't see any club picking him up.
He is gone, very similar to the last days of Mark Mecuri...

as much as I hate to see it, remember 2010 at all?
U2 of course I remember last year they shouldn't have won the first gf and Saints pathetically rolled over in the second. Collingwood are not that good a side.

While I am at it I will pot Maxwell, he is a useless gutless sniper.

Collingwood should test the market although I'd expect a lukewarm response, could be curtains for the hotstepper plodder.

It's a beautiful day....

How good is Jimmy Bartel?

Apart from Richmond winning a flag, today is the 2nd best thing

Great effort also from Lonergan who stopped the dominant Cloke.
Superb. Cloke had the game by the scruff of the neck and Lonergan put him to sleep.

And the Tomahawk took over. Man. He owned it. (Bar the kicking)
