We have this love affair with midgets. Midget defenders, midget forwards

Darling can play anywhere on the park, that's his true value, he's a classic modern era footballer. I'm not upset with Conca, in fact the clubs who had picks in the teens will be the ones shedding the most tears.

Dislocation and chance to play next week according to MMM. Didn't look that bad.

That's what they said about Ashbury!
Good ya! You listen to the knobs on MMM

Richo just mentioned his. Said that the ligament damage was immense. Stevie J's will depend on how much ligament damage there is.

Watching Geelong today only confirms in my mind that the Pies are going to win the flag.

Geelong are buggerising around and playing really dumb footy.

Stokes and Varcoe are shocking, and will be exposed by the pressure next week.

I am fully expecting a Pies flag after what I have seen today :(

They're just in 2nd gear Streaker. Would've been 1st gear if they played Hawthorn.

Next week should be a different story.

Mind you my worst nightmare has been avoided today. Heaven help me if the Eagles had won.

Agreed, they had it won halfway through the first quarter and they knew it.

their problem could be they play in 2nd gear alot, and lairize alot. if it works great if it doesnt they look bad.

for the weagles, cox, glass, embley and le cras all disappointing. their experienced players havent stood up today.

West coast wooden spooners in 2010
West coast top 4 in 2011
West coast to miss the 8 in 2012.

Today they played like the did against us when Riewolt kicked 10.
Carlton would be bleeding they didnt win last week! Sufffffer

Pies were *smile* last night. Cats just doing what's required to get to next week.

Is this a serious post? Geelong should be 1.50 favourites but you'll get 2.00. Put the house on it.

The loss of Steve Johnson today should be a massive problem for the CAttery.

Personally, last night's Coll d Haw game was another one of a long list of games decided by a poor umpiring decision - in this case the round the neck that should have been awarded to Puopolo, or whatever his name is in the Hawthorn goal square but wasn't.

The poor decision was hit home when Wellingham or whomever was given a free for exactly the same thing a minute later.

The Hawks got much closer than I thought.
Daisy looked underdone and will be better for the game under his belt.
And Swan was rested for most of the game until the Maggots needed him in the last quarter.

For the Hawkers, valiant effort, but these get you nowhere.

They way I look at it is, Collingwood shook off west coast in the last Qtr and Hawthorn in the last 3 minutes of the game.
Geelong slapped hawthorn from the 2nd qtr and they had west coast on there knees in the 1st 15 minutes.

So my tip for the flag is Collingwood! Why because they always find a way to win.

Although the match-up appears a lot closer than it did a month ago, I still favour Collingwood. By setting a torrid pace from the outset, they can expose Geelong's ageing legs. Podsiadly and Johnson playing is a must for Geelong to win.

When was the last time COllinwgood set a torrid pace LTRTR.

Geelong currently $2.10. Unbelievable they arent favourites.

But dont worry about taking that, just get on the $7.20 to win by more than 40 points. Collingwood are miles off the team they were last season & the first half of this.

Flags are nearly always won by fit inform teams at the top of their game. That is Geelong this year.

Teams not at their best carrying injured or underdone players rarely do. That is Collingwood this year.

Teams who carry injured players get spanked in Grand Finals. Game Over.

Geelong probably will start favourties. Weight of money at the moment setting the market I suspect. People have been backing the Pies all year. Not many would have taken Geelong that seriously until recent times.
