When was the last time COllinwgood set a torrid pace LTRTR.

Good point. They're still the leading first quarter team over the course of the season though, with both the highest average score for and lowest average against.

I just don't think Geelong are anywhere near the unit that won the 2007 flag, or even the 2009 flag. If Collingwood can't improve on Friday night they may well get beaten, but I think they will put recent distractions to one side and get the job done.

Currently on Betfair Pies are $1.93 and Cats are $2.06.

Which probably means TAB Sportsbet have them both at $1.50.

Cats seem value to me.

Jump aboard brother.

Backed them for the flag at the start of the finals so no need. Could layoff for an all green but I am just going to let it ride.

Go cats!

Cats flying at the right time of the season.

Will destroy Collingwood next week.

God I hope so Leysy, but I am fearful of the filth.

Catching the train home after the game, I couldn't help but laugh at some of the crap coming out of their supporters' mouths (the crap I could understand anyway). God I hope they fall flat on their arses next week.

That seems so close to arbitrage that you'd be tempted to take the Cats and hope the odds move when Jolly gets ruled out injured.

Get on it now if you want it.

Expect the Cats will shorten in to favourites come bouncedown.

An interesting observation.

Should Geelong beat Collingwood on Saturday, Collingwood will have completed a very odd season. They wil have beaten all comers in every game, except Geelong, who in turn, will have beaten them three times.

Beaten three times by one team, unbeaten in 22 games against everyone else. Who'da thunk such a thing could happen?

Got on today. Thanks for coming.

Cats have whacked them twice playing the system Hawthorn implemented yesterday and almost won. Collingwood carrying too many unfit players. If they win they have my utmost respect. Can't see it though.

Geelong by 23 points.

Looks like the Geelong bandwagon is in full swing here. Good luck to us all!

Good punt that Spook. While we're on the subject would be remiss of leysy to not bring up his punt on the Chimp this year. Anyone think we'll see $9 again in his career. ;D

On the punting for the Brownlow, thats well worth a stab but if you guys want a sure fire winner get on the Chimp to win our B & F.

With luck with injury is a certainty at just a lazy $9.

Needless to say Navy's loaded up.

Yes won with the Chimp myself. Easy money as you said mate.

Took the missus out to Flower Drum on the winnings.

Thank you Chimp. ;D

She's a lucky girl Bob.

Leysy spent his on various tickets for Melbourne Cup week.

Well leaving for a month overseas without her and with the boys.

Need some credits in the bank mate. I'm batting out of my league that's for sure and I know it :hihi

So once again. Thank the Chimp!

A months leave. Bloody Hell. Flower Drum meal is cheap.

A few days leave during Cup week is all leysy gets.

One thing is worrying me about backing the cats. The look on Mick's face after they won, I suspect his players would run through walls for him.

Very unscientific analysis, but it is giving me pause

yep . I am not at all sure the cats are over the line . The Eagles were awful yesterday , no pressure at all . The Cats were wasteful and they wouldn't want to be so sloppy next week .

Collingwood look half the team they were 6-8 weeks ago but I am wary that the previous version may return for the GF .

Two very different preparations for the granny. Geelong almost had a bye whereas the Wobblers had a mentally and physically tough, pressure cooker game. It will be interesting to see if either situation has any influence late in the game next week.
