I'd rather stick with Soldo, Chol, CuJo and even Balta. Concentrate on finding some genuine inside mids.

Yep. Just use a late pick on another young ruckman if we feel that we need one more. The best available 18,19,20 year old at the end of the draft will do.

We've already got that with Chol and CuJo. And as for an older, more developed VFL ruckman, Soldo generally has them covered in that comp so there's probably not a viable target there (SANFL, NEAFL or WAFL instead? 2M Peter?)

Only take a VFL ruck/forward late if they rate him.

If Lynch doesn't work out, would you draft Josh Corbett of Werribee. Article on the afl site is pumping his tyres as a contested marking forward who can also run 14 km a game (and building after glandular fever).

It also says something like "third tall". not sure what that means. 190cm.

Picks 19, 38 and 74.
First delist Hampson Griffiths and Miles saving $1,000,000.
Trades a) Lynch GC restricted free agent.
b) Conca and McIntosh to Freemantle for Cerra.
c) Lloyd, (Stegnyl) and pick 38 to St Kilda for pick 22 (2nd round)

Second delist Conca, Lloyd and McIntosh, saving $1,000,000
39 currently on list-6+Cerra ($400,000x3), Lynch ($1,000,000x4), picks 19 and 22, plus Chol upgraded rookie list, and 3 new rookies to join Baker, Moore and E Smith, at a total cost of $$2,000,000.

Not simple for the mug punter like us to work out how much money the tigs have in the salary cap, as we don't know who has front loaded or back ended contacts.

You are right of course, just my estimates based on what I believe was value at time of entering into current contract.

Not a bad player, however reckon you have to pay well over his true value.
We don't need to pay overs these days for what is essentially role players, we are more than capable of drafting these guys. IMHO we should only trade for elite players.

any interest in Luke Dalhaus?

25 yo premiership midget. Free agent.

He wants apparently 600k not going to get it from us. Lucky to get 400 in my opinion

I don’t think Eggsy will remain on the list and Moore can't stay a rookie beyond this year.

I think we'll need to promote Moore, Chol and Soldo if we want to retain them on the list

Good effort James.
Time will tell.
