2 19 Benjamin Griffiths Eastern Ranges TAC Cup Richmond
2 20 Nathan Fyfe Claremont WAFL Fremantle

3 34 Max Gawn Sandringham Dragons TAC Cup Melbourne
3 35 David Astbury North Ballarat Rebels TAC Cup Richmond

2009 Draft.

1 1 Joel Macdonald Brisbane Lions AFL Melbourne
1 2 Dylan Grimes Northern Knights TAC Cup Richmond
1 3 Adam McPhee Essendon AFL Fremantle
PSD.

It would be difficult picking players, and to say a few years ago two of the above would be premiership players... out of how many each draft? Needles and haystacks etc. but the better we get at drafting, the more the odds increase :)

Gawn and Fyfe would have been handy too.

I thought that went belly up?
Hey Wayno, I think he made something like $US300 million and then was investigated for misleading the shareholders. Haven't heard much since.

I think he made $300m on paper. Don't believe he sold the shares that spiked. Still sitting on a net worth of a few $mil though.

Ah thanks TT. I wouldn't be smart enough to plan some of this dodgy stuff!

You don't make 300 mil without stepping on someone's toes..

List managers from 12 clubs met today. Richmond and Gold Coast were two of the six that weren't there. (Neither was Hawthorn).

Already talking directly about our #19? Going straight to compensation rather than a trade?

Even then, I would have thought we'd be looking to trade out to clear some cap space and give opportunities to our fringies.

These are whom I think we'd be unsure on & what they may fetch at the trade table..

Townsend
Bolton
Stengle
C Moore
Lloyd
J Castagna
R Conca
C Ellis
McIntosh
B Ellis
Houli
Grigg
Menadue

Obviously names on that list we wouldn't want to lose, but you do hit on a fair point that being Premiers, and likely B2B Premiers, what premium do other clubs put on our players? I don't think any of those would command a 1st round pick but you can never be sure of what #lolNorf, GCS and Port are capable of.

What is the opportunity cost of those names?

One player I’d like B & B to have a chat to is Berry from Brisbane, Ballarat boy and I reckon his going to be a beauty, tough hard big bodied midfielder , wouldn’t come cheap, however I’d be keeping in his ear.

I like him a lot too Mr B, he's very well thought of up there, potential leader i think. He initiated them all putting their jumpers at the same time each week while standing in a circle.

Very good footballer and would fit beautifully into our midfield, he’d still command big coin and a pick around 10 I’d imagine
