I noticed today they listed the players training with other clubs. Richmond didn’t have any recycled players listed.

That's because we don't start training until after the draft. Hence no point in any coming to us. We may still be interested in some though

Well, well, well...

We have some serious competition to watch in our VFL team next year.

Talls: The old guard of Hampo, Griff, Soldo and Chol vs Cujo, Miller, Balta, Garth and Seymour. They'll also add pressure to Townie and Broad's spots when they're ready.

Smalls: Higgins adding to the small forward/mid mix to add pressure to Bolton and Stengle's ambitions to nudge out Butts and Castagna

Runners: Naish and Higgins threatening the succession plans of Oleg, Connor, Corey and Shorty.

It's going to be fun to watch.

Haaarrrgh, Cujo. Lets hope the kid lives up to the title you've bestowed upon him, big fluffy puppy morphs into feral rabid beast.

Wow.

This list is primed for sustained success.

I really think we have the capability of winning 3 premierships by 2020 with this combination of on-field talent, recruiting philosophies for the modern game, and club culture.

Go Tiges.

Three more, you mean.

I’ve been a critic of BH at times, however as easy as it is to say due to the fact we are Premiers, this is clearly the best we have been in list structure. Yes it would be nice to have another key forward of Jacks quality, however they don’t grow on trees an Lynch would fix that problem very quickly.

Really like the fact so many of our young talls appear capable of playing both ends as well as pinch hit in the ruck. Also appears we have a lot of characters who give everything they have got which always lifts the standards expected.

Hats off to ya Blair

I firmly believe that most other clubs haven't respected our 2017 gameplan and believe we won't be able to have any sustained success due to our luck with injuries among other factors.

Very surprising that it appears that no other clubs attempted to trade for any of our high pressure small players who were instrumental in our 2017 premiership success.

Not only have we kept our premiership 22 together but we delisted players who didn't do much for us on the senior field in 2017, freed up cap space by doing so and most importantly still have players such as Short, Bolton, Markov, Menadue, Miles and Corey Ellis who all played senior matches and are plug and play to assist if required.

Furthermore, to add in our quality draftees this year to our list is amazing.

We are going to upset alot more teams next year and if Higgins was drafted by a lesser team, he would be a favourite for the Rising Star.

Plus Miles, Lloyd, Conca and Drummond who would all have designs on first 22 spots

Last 3 drafts our first picks have been Rioli, Bolton and Higgins. All x-factor type players who are smart footballers.

Lots of opposition supporters I know still think it was a fluke and we'll fall right off next year. Chris Scott doesn't rate us either.

I think we'll be better next year. Next year they'll start hating us.

I agree, the way we finished in the finals we will be better for longer next season.

Still desperately trying to hang onto the cobwebs of their " era ". Small handful of ageing stars and a swathe of almost sort of good players keeping them an honest team. Chris Scott fell into the hole perfectly when Bomber walked out n he's been going nowhere since.

Yes when you think about it - what stamp has he actually put on that team - apart from getting danger and Ablett (and those trades would have happened regardless of who coached) - nothing from what I can seek

Wasn't it Dimma a few years back who said something about leaving when the team stops improving? Apart from a mini transformation ( *smile* hit the fan ) last year, the Tigers were pretty much on a learning then upward trend since he came to the club. Culminated in a flag this year n the age / experience parameter of the list says we should maintain upper level performance for a few years at least.
Cats under Scott have gradually stagnated from elite to Ho Hum mediocrity, yet he's supposedly a superior coach. The other Scott is similarly rated n has achieved even less at Norf over his tenure.

I couldn't give a stuff what they think. I think it's hilarious they're trying to justify our success and point out how lucky we were. It's even more delicious when they do.
