I think a lot of it is an "Up Yours" by us to the AFL fixturing Dept.
With the 5 day turn around farce off the back of a hot game in the Qld heat.
Don't think we are bending over per se, just player management.
I would expect quite a few changes between Rds 1 and 2.

Yze needs time , but his biggest downfall would be going to the same well of experienced players who are past their best or not up to it. This thread has been happening for the last couple of years. The kids need their opportunity, and we need rejuvenation.
Understandable really. Could miss first 2 games, just takes a while to heal, provided he doesn't try to run in first 4 to 5 days, depending how bad it is.
He intimated in earlier interviews this would happen from the get go , hope true to word
