Blame Kane Johnson for teaching him that. If only Ben Cousins had come to Tigerland a few years earlier ::)

Johnson was a shocker at this but he wasn't the only one. Thankfully most of the offenders are gone now or changing their habits.

Re: Tambling [Merged]

Quite simply, he still continues to not work hard enough.

When the ball came came to him he was brave, and when a bloke came at him he tackled well, but people who were there would have seen 4 times when he just plainly refused to work hard enough and people around me were getting very, very frustrated, as was I.

Re: Tambling [Merged]

Needs to be dropped. Enough is enough. How many poor peformances can this bloke get away with?

Agree. It is is sad, but he is simply not good enough for AFL level...

I'm sick of this. :veryupset

Richie certainly has some work to do but that kind of claim appears more a deliberate attempt to get a reaction. When he's going well he is clearly good enough for AFL level. You've shown anti-Tambling agenda on this forum and have had clear warnings in that regard. Everyone has the right to freedom of speech on here, as long as it's within the guidelines, but the site isn't for people to constantly berate one particular player. Might be an idea to think about the conditions you've previously agreed to in order to keep posting here otherwise you won't be welcome. Enough is enough!

*smile* him off Rosy, there are forums like BLOS for the kiddies and clowns

Re: Tambling [Merged]

dont know why all the angst. ritchie was ok in the first half when the game was up for grabs.

if you imagine he was a white pick 20 it helps

ps rosy, punt him

Yeah, thought he really busted a gut this week with very little luck. The numbers don't reflect how hard he actually worked.

It could be time for richmond fans to disguise themselves as hawks fans on HFC forums and wind Hawthorn fans up about picking Mitchell Thorp at #6 when we got Jack Riewoldt at #13 ;)

Must be why we picked Tambo ahead of Buddy.
We knew Jack was heading our way.

Won't work, they will just post photos of their recent premierships. They are annoying people!

Having been at the game on Sunday, I'd have to agree, Tambling back to Coburg, just like Morton.
If he can't get his act together in the two's, then he's either up for trade end of season or delist in
my book.

Simply given that he was a top 10 draft pick, he has not come even close to what was expected of
him. Sure we can all say lack of development, Wallace changing his game plan every 2 minutes
etc, but Tambling is supposed to be an elite AFL footballer. To date I have seen absolutely
nothing to suggest that he falls into the elite category, barely average in my book, he made some
real clangers on Sunday.

Tambling himself has to take a fair bit of the blame. He should be smart enough to have worked
out his weaknesses and strengths and then worked on both accordingly to improve his game.
If he has been doing that, then he is taking a lot of time to get it right. Perhaps he is suffering
major confidence issues, if so he should be dropped to Coburg, told what he needs to do to
correct it and only when he is firing in the Coburg team, then he is back to the senior team.

Richmond do not have the luxury of carrying a player like Tambling, McMahon or anyone else
that thinks beauty feed time at the zoo. The aim of the team is to win games, to develop their
abilities individually and collectively to enable the win's to come. I may be seen as harsh on
Tambling, but I honestly believe he has had more than ample opportunity this season to prove
himself and to date he has not been able to consistently perform at the level expected.

So he should be sent to Coburg for at least a month.

Won't be many people obnoxious and disturbed enough to bother.
