Having paid well above the odds for Richie (draft pick 4 in a very strong draft), I would hope for something decent in return. Not sure we will get much based on his performances.

That draft was actually pretty weak, but hey Mitch Thorp turned out to be a great pick just before Joel Selwood in 2006.

He has a very bright future as a back pocket player with a huge proviso. Bling is pretty much mentally on Talfamador from the moment he walks on the park. I'm talking sex romps in outer space.

You reckon J was a stoner? This is planet acid. Are they dragons around the ball? Or the pie-stand? (Ignore the pie-stand, Richard. Focus on the ball between the dragons.)

Anyways Richard needs some serious mentoring. Let's hope Beavis can help him out. (Is Hardwick Beavis or Butthead? I can never remember.)

:clap genius, sheer genius.

Don't forget Beau Dowler!

F: Richard Tambling, Ben Griffiths, David Astbury

good to see the selection committee are monitoring my posts and acting accordingly :hihi

if Ritchie genuinley gets a gig in the forward line this weekend i hope he nails it.

Had his best half for the year coming from the backline on Friday night.

Looked a different footballer running towards the ball and being able to see the play ahead of him.

The one issue I have had with Dimma is not having Tambling coming off the back flank all year.

seems obvious

Bit bemusing. Hasn't he been genuinely getting gigs in the forward line for the last x weeks and failing dismally?

If they wanted another key forward, they could have taken Jack Riewoldt 8)

i thought he was getting shifted around for the last x weeks. the way I read naming him in the forward line (as opposed to wing or midfield like previously) is that he's going to get a more serious shot at it with Connors back. just my take on it. thought there was something in it. probably means nothing.

Re: Tambling [Merged]

Crap again. Here's a play that typifies his lack of football nous. Gets the ball kicked to him in the middle of the ground. Basically nothing in front of him. He heads straight to the flank, takes a couple of bounces, delivers poorly, ball is rebounded and they kick a goal. Sorry, he ain't got it. Bring Webberley back, gives more and deserves the spot ahead of Tambling.

Re: Tambling [Merged]

King was doing the defensive forward job, yet Tambling struggled to get near it today. Maybe he's like Morton, struggling to play the unfamilar brand of footy demanded from all players under Hardwick.

Always interesting to get a non football opinion. My girlfriend and I were watching today and she asked why Ritchie always runs into people. I had no answer. She then asked why I was his Prez on PRE. I said it was because I thought that this year would be his breakout year.

He really does not deserve his spot at the moment. I hope he can turn it around but it is only hope at this stage...

Re: Tambling [Merged]

massive dissapointment. it was an ideal game for Bling to find some form. plenty more waiting to take his spot.

Re: Tambling [Merged]

Time for him to go to the hypnotist again.

Maybe they can hypnotize him to think he's a footballer as opposed
to a mobile spectator.

Deplorable today. Just runs around at half pace whereby he occasionally
bumps into a loose ball or a contest.

Worst part is he wears bright yellow boots. Surely you would want to deflect attnetion wherever possible when playing like he is atm.
