Tambling (merged)

all players improve when all players improve as a team. if we are winning games because everyone is doing the team thing, blokes like tambling will have some top notch games within a team context. personal glory to follow....

Just coming along nice and quietly.....excluding the double page article in today's hun.

How people can be calling for his head at this stage is mind boggling. He's improved a great deal on last year, especially his running and taking players on.

Was very impressed with him today.

Moreso that he backed up his good performance last week, and was even better this week, more composed, better in tight, kicking was very good, which I am not hiding the fact I doubted. If he can produce this consistantly, I have no issue to admit I was wrong about him.

Very well played.

i personally don't care about all this franklin vs tambling hype. as yet buddy's proven nothing other than him being a sensational individual player. i'd give buddy ten brownlows for one premiership with bling in the side. this is much more important, so time will tell.
who knows buddy could get injured or suspended :police: in the future, then who'd look stupid??

Ran too far with the ball on afew occasions. SO my one critisism is his decision making needs some work., but coming along the old Blinga

Buddy is a sensational player, he's already proved that and from what I've seen yes he is an individual player but why would you bother passing when you can snap goal like he can at the rate he can. But to me I don't care to look back and wish that we'd picked him. What is done is done, you can never know 100% that Buddy was going to be the player he is, he was overlooked for the first 3 spots in the draft (even by Hawthorn's first pick). The signs for Tambling are positive that he's gong to be an excellent player in his own right. He's rapidly improving and this is the time (this year and next) where you would expect a player of Tambling's ilk to really start showing his colours.

just wondering , can anyone provide me with some UN BIASED feedback today on RT's game , i have yet to see the game , too shattered to watch another win slip through our grasp

Tambling is improving.

He is starting to look composed when he has the ball. He is making less mistakes then he has in the past. He is also doing the defensive things he has been often accused of lacking in the past.

The signs are alot better then they were 6 months ago.

If look around PRE you will find a lot of people who are useually pretty slow to praise Tiger players starting to sing Bing's praises.

Myself, I am biased because I've always liked him as a football and get very excited with each step of his progression.

If you remember back. Hawthorn were expected to pick Tambling and we were tipped to pick Roughead. We still wouldn't have had Franklin

delediogriffen tambling roughhead buddy it seems to me they are all going to be 150 -200+ game players.in this sense the clubs involved got their picks right.
at the end of the day no one can predict who will be the best 4 or 5 players in any draft all you can hope for with any early pick is a long term contributor of good quality.dont achieve this and you have failed. achieve it and you have succeeeded.

Geez Santa, have you had a few tonight. Apart from the fact I had to read your post 3 times to work out what you were saying, it also sounded pretty positive. :)
