Tambling (merged)

Agree. But this debate should never happen. Tambling is so far beyond Krakouer that it is silly to compare.

If fact I am ending it, never again. That is it over. This boy still has star potential, no doubt.

Actually thought he showed me a couple of things I have never seen from him.

The contest with Robert Harvey was tremendous. He hit a mans body and didn't come off second best, Harvey felt a hard body hit him. Never seen that before. Also saw Tambling get involved with a string of contest at full pace and not look like he was shot. Definitely much fitter and has a better tank. Tried to play on and get around people at every chance. Looked a thousand times more comfortable and confident.

These are all desire things and effort, something that has been limited in his RFC tenure thus far. Good signs.

Hard to tell from TV but he looked to have limited time on the ground.

Got the sherrin a few times and turned it over a few times.

His white shorts will be folded up and put back in the draw, not a green stain on them, but then again it was only a NAB game, all our players were going at half pace.

Am still waiting for the game when he explodes & proves why he was taken & rated so high, maybe it just might not happen

Grab a chair a six pack, you'll be waiting a while, but the odd stat that flys in will keep you amused.

I was there Scoop and he is getting more involved and composed. I'd still like to see him take them on more but I think it will come. He seemd to rotate with Foley a lot on ball and pine. Was treated very gently by Wallace - looks like he will be midfielder though.

We desperately need a fit and firing Coughlan or it will be a long year!

well it was the same old same old again with ritchie....geez i wish we could have a refund on that pick we took him with...oh well win some you lose some....

Well i grab & chair & a six pack (& if the odd chance we are winning a bottle of vodka) for every game anyway,so i suppose i can keep waiting!

Started well and had some good moments although not enough of them. Couple of dodgy handballs. Couple of very good ones.

Some of his kicks were like subsuburban class. Rusty and not a naturally fine kick.

Agree, SCOOP, much harder at it. And worked a lot harder. Not our worst.

At best he will be a decent player, he will never justify his draft place!!!

Go and have a look at the number 4 draft picks over the past 15 years.
Tambling is towards the upper echelon of quality.
There are no guarantees about where you are picked, all it does it get you a ticket to the big stage.

I'm pleased that you saw some promising signs Scoop & Jack.

FFS this kid rolled his ankle two weeks ago!!!!
