C'mon Livo, little Johnny needs to head off to the outback and into the unknown after 30 odd years in front of our eyes.............and he can take Lou Costello's a-hole smirk with him.
Rudd's a bit raw but he seems tough and smart. All this talk about unions growing again is all garbage.
We'll see what is garbage once he is in power, Tigerforce.
I'm looking forward to coming back to this thread over the coming months at what people have written here and what Rudd has promised them and with cliche after cliche:
* 'Working class families'
* 'Toolbox for the 21st century'
* 'Howard is a clever and cunning politician'
* 'Education Revolution'
Note these 4 cliches down and in the next Rudd interview you see on TV, count how many times he says the above...you'd be quite amazed.
All slogans....but nothing to back them up.

Howard,or Howard lite-Where's the choice?
That's the perception Rudd has given the voting public.
We saw a snippet of the "real" ALP when McClelland simply spoke about the policy the ALP has on the death penalty in Asia.
Instead of supporting the ALP policy and congratulating McClelland for getting their policy out there in the public domain....McClelland was "counselled" and Rudd backflipped by agreeing with Howard again.
The perception is that Rudd is "me too", The Echo, or 'Howard-lite'.....but is he really?
And my question is....if the ALP policies are so great and of benefit to the Australian people, then why don't the ALP, like McClelland did, come out with their true thoughts, opinions, and ambitions...and let the public decide, instead of hiding behind the Government's policies?
And....if he is agreeing with so many 'bad' policies that the Libs have come up with, then why should we vote for him, instead of staying with Howard? and won't he backflip time and time again once in power to bring the true ALP policies to the table?
