Sydney Stack

Can people take a chill pill and stop bluing about where he was and where he was meant to be.

The facts are very simple.
He wasnt drafted becuase he had behaviour issues and a really *smile* attitude.
We can all see that now.
He was training with the kids.
And was training really really *smile*.
I was told they sent him home to think about it football was his number 1 priority and come back on jan 6th in a better frame.
And now the kid has fked up again.
Let's not lose a nut. He didn't rob or steal. The fight footage again shows stack at the receiving end of the blows.
Hang tight people enjoy your xmas and the club will decide what happens with this kid in the new year.
They wont leave him high and dry.

yeah I really enjoyed the full cold-eyed shark too.

when did benny say that?

Interview during the year if memory serves. Said most players have crazy or flinchy eyes when they are engaging the contest but Dusty just looks shark the whole time.

He’s right. Dusty is the coolest player I’ve seen. The James Bond of the AFL

Poetic Benny. Just another side to our polymathic CEO. I’d like to find that interview.

Have I got this right mods? @The Big Richo @Mr?

Accusing a jailed richmond player of lying about a death in his family is acceptable content,

And a photo of a KKK hood in the american museum of natural history

Isnt?

Really?

theres some classy, quality humans who contribute a lot to this site who cant believe it.

I have no issue if the club sacked Stack but I am glad that they are sticking by him. But what I am most disappointed about is what are the club or social justice warriors doing about a young aboriginal man being in jail for breaking quarantine?
Where are a BLM *smile* opportunist now????

If this does'nt expose that we are being delivered head long into political tyranny nothing else will.
Here we have a young man JAILED {FFS} for daring to live a life within in his basic human rights!!!!
This is utterly outrageous and its time we all stood up to these power hungry wanna be Stalins and remind them that they should be afraid of us and not the other way!!!!!

Covid or China virus is simply a trojan horse to deliver the NWO

I hear you General, I just think there is still a step to be made before sacking him. As I said, banish him for 6 months, have him working 9-5 and training with only with the seconds like the guys desperate to get on an AFL list.

I don't see that there's much to lose by seeing how he responds to that, but there's some considerable upside for the club and the individual if it makes a break through with him.

As for him hurting the club, I don't see that as much of a risk. It was only the exceptional circumstances of the hub that saw us fined for the kebab incident. No club is the history of the game has ever copped a penalty for anything like that or what he had done this time.

I'd prefer to see the upside for the club. If we can help Stack shake of his issues then he could emerge as a very good player for a long time to come and we could rightly feel proud that we made a massive difference in the life of a young man that would otherwise end up in a very vulnerable place.

And the AFL has cut clubs soft cap by 30% meaning many good people lost across the club, welfare, coaches etc, (experienced coaches Leppa and Fly not going to be replaced), so way less resources to deal with cases like this or take on would be cases in the future..
Syd has billeted with Dimma twice, and Xavier Clarke once because he has failed with host families. Think about that Dimma and X have gone above and beyond and taken Syd into their homes and he has rewarded them how.
He has had Marlion, the best possible role model, (in Syd's circumstances), giving him advice but it is falling on deaf ears.
The club has spent an extraordinary amount of their resources on Syd already.

Yes we can continue to throw all our reduced resources at one player but just my opinion I think the risks to the club are way more than the rewards, we do have another 43 players that need due care & attention. Very lucky we have an experienced squad.

Either way I think it needs to be a whole club decision and the playing list needs to be canvassed if the majority are on board to bring Syd back into the fold then so be it, if not!

I say we cut him. He doesn’t want to help himself. How many chances are we prepared to give him?

Apologies Ezy but I've clearly missed something behind the scenes as I have no idea what you're talking about.

Thanks for replying BR.

I had exceeded my tolerance threshold reading the pile on bile on Sydney,

and I posted a picture of a Klu klux Klan white hood. It was an exhibit in The American Museum of Natural History. A photo of a public display.

The text I wrote below the picture

said

'Christmas gift idea

for the man who has everything,

especially those that like to lynch black men anonymously.

all proceeds go to buying Eddie McGuire a set of golf clubs as a farewell gift'

now, sure its parcelled up in my usual oblique humour,

but to deconstruct it;

I was making the following points

1. The Klan Hood is the very epitome of saying and doing nasty tings to black people, under the protection of anonymity, A bit like the internet.

2. I believe there is a strong racist element in Sydneys current treatment by the WA govt.

3. I believe there is a racist element to the vehemence of the attack on Sydney by some people on this thread

4. I believe Eddie McGuire is racist

I didnt see my post appear, and I got the message;

Your post in the thread Sydney Stackwas deleted. Reason: Inappropriate Content.

which is where I asked the question of the mods in relation to the relative appropriateness of stuff on here.

Personally, I find pubic speculation about the factuality of a death in someones family, pretty inappropriate,

But I never reported it or demanded it be taken down, I just called it out.

If people think a picture of a KKK hood is inappropriate, they should call it out.

But do you reckon if they complained to the American Museum of Natural History, the curator would remove it from display?

I have no problem with this post and the KKK hood being moved to the rumour board, along with the blowhard gossip and racist judgements about Sydney and his family.

merry Christmas to all
EZT.

That is fine, but you can't be shaming people into not voicing an opinion simply because they believe he's had enough chances and should be sacked. That is left-wing politics 101.
