Still giving us nothing...'cept Cups and Medals

The commentators are split into two groups: those who played (King, Dunstall, Brereton, Roos, Carey, Ling, Mooney, etc.) who give us full credit, and those who barrack (Wankley, Robinson, Clark et al) who can't stand it and look for excuses to cut us down or predict our demise. (Lyon and Lloyd fit more in the latter than the former.) Only one of these groups is worth listening to.
Yes I agree, very astute observation although I will say that there is not one Richmond person amongst those groups, Carey has always been the first to say good things about us and Derm likes us but doesn't like us winning all the time. Gerard says we are the unquestionably the best but you get the feeling he is saying that to put the pressure on us and off The Cats. Garry Lyon at least recognises why we are the best even if he doesn't like us and Lloyd just has no idea at all. Roos is pissed that his system is crap compared to ours. Kingy at least is armed with the data and his article on us the other day is the best I have read.

Not sure I agree with you re Roos, Tails. I have been surprised with how positive he is about Richmond these days, ditto Mark Maclure. (Maclure is actually a really good bloke in the flesh.)

Throw Barrat in there.
He reckons LOOK out if Waite, Brown, Ziebell and Mason Cox click..
About Richmond - 'if Dustin Martin has been going through the motions this yearr, he will have to do a lot more than that against Jacobs..'

I'd like to see Jacobs 1 on 1 with Dusty in the goal square

Agree about Maclure, Spook, he couldn't even talk about us last year and this year is very positive. Roos is complimentary at times but I just feel he bristles with his defence first mantra particularly when Browny challenges him, this, I think gets to him because I have had to watch his chip, chip *smile* gameplan for a long time (even Longmire is the same) which didn't really transpose at Melbourne because their home ground is the MCG. No Richmond has come along with a better one he just comes across as salty. I realise this might be just something I am seeing though and might be clouded from being in Sydney too long!!!!

Dermire. give us a spell spooky. He's the one who said the comp is *smile*! Therefore 1+1=???

The AFL site always does a '9 things we learned' after each round, 75% of these have been about our opposition and not us...

Come on Wayne!

We have Cleary put 4 points ahead of our moral priorities all year!

You put way to much stock in winning games!

Cmon guys, who gives a *smile* what journos or so called experts think of us. They can all GAGF.

Reigning premiers, 7 and 1 and top of the ladder baby

Agree they suck Dunstall is top of the list in my book

Three out of the last four rounds, West Coast have played on the Saturday and we've played on a later day.
Each time, the site that must not be named have crowed mid-round about the Weagles "taking top spot with their win over XYZ".
Truth is they have not once been on top this year after a complete round.

The host SEN tonight must be a Geelong supporter. I nearly drove off the road when he said that Tom Stewart from Geelong was currently the best defender in the competition.

My lord what do these guys smoke?

Reverse the result in any of the games against

Coll
NRf
Freo

and that side would be in the eight.

currently in the 8 are the

Dees
Hawks

Loss to the

Stonned crows.

Loads of haters dribbling about our easy draw. Thats 6 games against sides that will finish in the 8 or knocking on the door in another close comp. Yet we are two games clear.

Imagine if we didn't have a hangover! Imagine if we could be brave! Imagine if we won a free kick count!

Good Times!
