Steve Morris F/S

How many vital skill errors does this guy make week in week out? No doubting his courage and his efforts but that doesnt cut it in this day and age.

What courage, why does everyone have to prefice a comment about this bloke with courage, he throws himself at things because he actually doen't know what to do. He doesn't think thats actually the problem

If he cannot go 5 minutes without his shoulder popping out then why is he playing?

It is clearly affecting his ability to spoil and even simply catch the ball.

Its been a while since he played a good game. Too many errors in last years elimination final. Got shown up again in the game against Carlton in round 2 and made plenty of errors tonight.

Needs to be rested to get his shoulder right - every week you see him grab for it. Its not like he is dominating, why are we running him into the ground? Let Newy or Ellis play back pocket.

Not up to afl level
Costs us too many goals with basic skill errors
Also gives away unnecessary free kicks with brain fades and bull in a china shop tactics
Another father son gone AWOL
Love the guys heart and courage but when you weigh him up his negatives outweigh his positives

Anyone know how Morris shoulder is holding up?
Hope we dont go into the game with Morris who is obviously not 100%

btoz, it's *smile*. It's been *smile* for over a year. He's a footballer; he plays.

For the thread, the humerus is the upper bone in the arm. At its top is a ball that fits into the shoulder socket. Twice in the past three weeks Mozza has walked calm;y from the park with his humerus head drawn from the socket.

I've seen blokes vomit from this, the shock. Some pass out.

Morris can deal with it. An example to other team members. It's *smile* heroic.

Does it effect his game? It's the core of his game. But not his only virtue.

Morris can judge the fall, see the pack forming and from range clean that pack up by getting under it. There are bodies everywhere.

Morris is he hardest man on the list IMO. But not a senior player unless he can improve his ball use.

I'd sign him for five years as captain of the magoos from 2015 onwards. And if he came on, and we were in a PF, he's in.
