Steve Morris F/S

Up until round 18 this season had a disposal efficiency 83.2% and kicking efficiency of 78.9%. I reckon he sounds like someone we would normally draft so can't see why we wouldn't take him as almost a freebie.

Defenders often have high kicking efficiency, but from the reports he sounds like a good target to draft with a 4th round pick as a father-son pick

Assuming we are interested in him as a father/son lets hope noone else bids because we could get him with our last pick if that is the case . Nominations for F/S have to be done by 7/10 so if it is going to happen we would expect to know soon .

Is only a State Screening invite so can't be too much interest in him. Looks a good prospect.

Agree. As he has nominated before we could even tell him to avoid ND and go to the PSD. Comes down to what we do with Maric. Wouldn't Maric PSD and Morris Rookie Draft just set us up beautifully. IMO we should offer a 3rd rounder for Maric as u don't want to *smile* a club over completely. If they don't agree its PSD. Wants to play in Vic for Richmond as first ruck and we have offered him a good contract. $250k a year. GWS can't take him as they have an Adelaide player, PA i think want Lobbe as 1st ruck and need an experienced back-up, Brisbane have Leuenberger, Adelaide won't re-draft a player who is dis-interested in being there and GC have very good rucks already.

In answer to your question i think he will be a solid AFL player. A role player like u need in the 17-22 range of your best 22.

We could be but with that comes the risk that another club drafts him . Depends on how highly we rate him whether we take that risk or not .

Krakouer's father played for North .
Zantuck's father played for melbourne .
Greig's father played for North .
Raines was not taken Father-son

They all has fathers that played in the AFL!
