Steve Morris F/S

Actually Morris' nick name should be woosha, you know the sound he hears as the game rushes him by.

Oh dear!
Thought he might have been half a chance at some decent input against the Bloosers.
Not much positive to be said about last nights game for a few of our players, there's a fair few that stunk it up n Stevie was a front runner.

If his direct opponent continues to get only 3 possessions each game, Morris will continue to get games.

Who are you saying was his direct opponent, Buckley?

Anyway your point is debatable. IF Morris was responsible for restricting his opponent to 3 possessions a game ...maybe. But if your opponent only got 3 possessions because he had a stinker then no.

Anyway, in today's football a back like Morris expected to shut down AND give run out of defence.

A big problem for us was that Grimy Grub had just as poor a game as Stevie.
We got lucky last night against the Bloosers, it's just not possible to play two totally negative shut down defenders that have nil influence on the game and expect to be successful. At least one of them has to be able to run n create, link up, hurt the opposition going the other way in some capacity.

Geez where'd you plull that from.
IMO Dylan was way way better than Morris.
His last qtr goal line spoil effectively ended Carlton's hopes.

Yep Grimes was good, had a poor 5 minute spell in the third, but otherwise very solid.

Grimes played very tight. Didn't get a lot of the ball but kept that pretender Walker pretty quiet.

rubbish. Apart from a missed spoil, Grimes was good and was under a hellavu lot more pressure than star jumps was.

Thought he played a role last night, did ok but played to his ability. Others are better who played seconds.

Who was he on, didn't think he offered much, will make way for grigg I reckon

who plays backline? as it was we played one backman short last night, so played Ellis there for 3/4s before moving McIntosh there. If Morris is dropped it has to be for a backman.
