Yeah. I slightly prefer Hunt. What about you, Juffa?

I think Morris as a defender goes ok as depth.
When comparing him to Hunt I think Morris definitely hits the opponents harder, particularly in the air in marking contests.
However, Hunt has better offensive ability which helps Brandon Ellis enormously. Brandon's games are always so much better when there are 3 offensive runners out of the backline.
When it is just him and Houli, his numbers drop.

It is a really close call between them but at the end of the day, if Yarran was fit they both wouldn't play but we would have 3 defenders in Ellis, Houli and Yarran who can rip it up from the back half. However, none of them are elite defenders so Vlaustin will have to play a lot of deep defense if they go in that direction and Rance will be covering their butts a few times (which he is exceptional at). I am looking fwd to seeing that uber offensive running defense later in the season if the 3 can get healthy at one time and see if it holds up against the best teams and creates some really stunning ball movement from the back half.

May have been the case in the past but these days he doesn't seem to be able to get near his opponent to hit em. Will surely be gone with Deledio and a couple of others coming back?

looking forward to a break out game tonight, three maybe four touches.
I think it is admirable that RFC has someone on work experience. How caring to give an obviously unemployed (and unemployable) footballer a taste of the real thing.

Vital inclusion, vital 4 possessions....

Was well out of the best 22 late last year and did nothing over the preseason to turn that around. In fact he looked like an even bigger liability. Yet somehow is a rd 1 lock. Go figure.

Hardwick's hard-on for Morris is almost a sackable offence.

How many of them were turn overs?
To be fair none of them were:

He had ONE disposal in each of the 4 quarters. 2 kicks 2 handballs with 100% disposal efficiency. 1 contested possession, 3 uncontested. 2 tackles.

All in 71% game time.

This isn't park footy, this is AFL footy and a back man with Morris pace and build and experience should be clearing the ball driving it forward....with regularity.

Yet he keeps serving up these sub 6 possession games. It's just ridiculous he gets a game.

Someone said he was included to add some hardness to the team.
Surely you have to be in the play to do that
