That was when they were still trying the forward experiment. Once that failed and the only option was defence if he put in a poor, low possession game he was dropped. If we'd had all our best 22 fit (Grigg, Lids, Maric, Yarran) Morris wouldn't have been selected. He'll count himself very lucky if he survives the cut for the Collingwood game and he really is living on borrowed time as a senior selection.tigerlove said:

He's contracted until the end of 2017. He played 21 games (including the EF against Port in 2014), despite the buggered shoulder. No shoulder injury last year and played 14 games, at least half when he was being trialled as a forward in a fairly desperate attempt to salvage his career. If that trend continues then he'll play almost no games in 2017 and after that we won't have to worry about him.tigertim said:
