Batchelor is ok. Put the regulars back in there and Jake finds his place and does his job well.
 
Before the season proper has commenced the Tigers already have a couple or a few list cloggers ... that's a bit of a worrying sign.

To reprise part of my earlier post - did you see the EF?

To be kind I will concede possibly limited roles, specific opponents only in occasional games.
 
I blame the coaching staff also. Tried to make him a small fwd which he was never smart or skilled enuf to ever be. That may have taken his confidence away as tonight he had no clue back in the back line. He was a good aggressive lockdown bp when he started. He's lost the plot now. All his fault or coaches stuffed him up???

wasnt even in our top 30 last season.

It's staggering he is still on our list. His damn contract just seems to go on and on!

it seems Batchelor's whole career has been defined by one game.

on Morris, i expect he will do what he did in the back half of last year. play VFL but fill in if we have injuries, then when he play he will do a reasonable job defensively.
 
I'd love for us to find a way out of that contract at least a year early, because the only spot I can see for Steve these days is in the VFL, but he occupies a spot on our senior list and will for this season and next.

No, he's got a contract, which was given to him when he was worth something, but he needs to give his manager a huge drink for negotiating the length of it.
 
Just has no idea and no peripheral vision . In Q1 10 metres in the clear with an opportunity to spot someone up in the 50 just chucks it on the boot ...result on the full .
