If we delisted him, do you honestly think another club would take him in the draft?

I'd doubt it. That would be true for quite a few journeymen players I reckon.

As others have said, he's depth. Limitations but he can come in and do a job.

Still don't get the hate and vitriol he cops for a bloke that bleeds yellow and black, but each to their own I guess.

Always getting hammered on PRE and I am as guilty as the rest but today he stood up to be counted and showed some of his 2013 form. Would be a trifle unlucky if he was to lose his place next week

Created a selection dilemma if Conca and Grimes fit. Good game. Also a good 10 minutes by Lennon.

His position is as a small defender. Showing why he shouldn't be played as that forward Dimma wanted. We have class down forward who provide collectively pressure.

Slowly building his confidence the last two games.

Coming good at the right time.

Well done.

I was one of his critics cause I was upset that he was being played out of position and his confidence was done. Has shown he is a natural defender.

Definitely a defender. Small forwards kick goals.

Good game today though.

Love you Morro but if Grimes is fit he pushes you out.

Yep. The positive is that Morris is now a part of our ever growing depth as a handy small defender.

Benefited from a run and gun setup in the first quarter.

That's when he plays very well.

Was better than last week, looked sharp and hungry.

Looks comfortable again in the back pocket. Played well.

Agree. Folly playing him forward. Vickery/LLoyd are a far better forward combo than Griffiths/Morris.

When he plays (we've got too much class now to play him regularly) he must be played down back. It's his natural game. He was good yesterday. His best game since the first Freo one and probably the best one for the year. Didn't go to ground much and I didn't see him chasing backside, generally when he was running he had the ball in hand or was moving to receive it.

He did some good things but Elliot probably shaded him on the day.

Grimes is a must for our backline and Morris will be casualty. Morro will get a game if there is an injury but I still worry about his propensity for poor decision making when we get into the heat of finals footy.

Yeah, started to back himself to run the ball out and linked up well by handpass. Agree he's depth only after Grimes is fit.

Thought he played pretty well yesterday. He didn't really make any of his trademark errors and he was quite composed with the ball.

The best game he's played for a long long time.

We're reaching the point where we have good depth. If we can bring in Morris to cover an injury and he plays like that, we're in very good shape.

His 2013 was the type of football that made supporters proud. Now he's fit, in the BP, and back to his best form IMO.

Shouldn't let his poor performances up forward cloud our judgment as to what he can do from a BP.

Keep him in the team.

Let's forget the whole forward experiment thing ever happened. We've regained a near-AA squad quality BP.

Grimes is much better than Morris and should come at his expense if fit.

Morris is now depth - agree he plays better when in defence but he still turns if over to easily coming out of defence.
