"He's done an incredible job on Eddie Betts over a number of years," Tigers coach Damien Hardwick said before flying out of Melbourne.

Translation: "We have great depth, to panic in our presence is natural"

Betts v Richmond;
2014: 12 disposal, 2 goals
if you watch the highlights of last years game, neither of Betts' goals were Morris's fault, one was from a kick in turnover.

we missed Morris last night, should play the rest of the year. (just kidding)

If Grimesy is out you might just get your wish Brodders :)

If he's picked hope he comes in and does well. I can't bring myself to hate anyone who wears the yellow and black and tries their guts out.

I hark back to our slow start to the year when Hardwick's Morris forward experiment misfired and we found ourselves at 2-4.
Obviously this move alone wasn't the sole reason for the poor start but its a damn shame it took so long for us to right the ship.

Newman went back to cover for Grimes.

If Grimes is out next week, who would we prefer to cover him: Newman or Morris?

:hihi

My 2&1/2 yo daughter was watching her iPad. All of a sudden I heard this in the background. And it certainly made me smile.

That's nothing!!!

My daughter has had an iPad since she was 5 months old, now she's almost 10 months - Furchesters, Baby Einstein, Bubble Guppies, Elmo - you name it. And no I don't even have one :p

Would have thought they'd just drool, belch n fart on the damn things.
Just more flashing lights n jangling noises to distract the mind from everything else around them. Won't be long before everyone just sits in a corner with some sort of three D holo mask on their face n never need to move again.

I was having some trouble removing stuff from my mobile. A good looking girl in the shop fixed it for me and told me if I was to get into any trouble with the phone just ask some 5 year old!! Makes sense.

im glad she was good looking. these things are important.

In Grimes absence, Steve will play in the small defender role where he's played his best footy for us.
Hopefully he can rediscover some form and confidence in that position.
It was a big mistake to play him forward by Hardwick earlier in the year. Clearly his limitations in that role were exposed and it destroyed his confidence. That said the back 6 in his absence have been awesome this year.
However he has played some good games defensively and he's been picked so fingers crossed he does ok. He's on the list for 2 more years after this so we need him contributing.
If Hardwick plays him forward ever again I will scream.

Yep I really hope he plays back line and is never seen anywhere near the forward line again. Back is where he has played his best footy, its either there or not at AFL level at all. I must say though he is a lucky man, has been afforded many more opportunities than some others on the list.
