Steve Morris F/S

Dimma still magically thinking he will be our version of puopolo.

As the line goes... tell him he's dreaming.

He wasn't, was for some of the game though.
Played a hard tag on Yarran. The only times he wasn't on him directly was when we were on the offensive and he was pushing forward or trying to drag Yarran away from the play. Played his role well. Yarran is their best playmaker from defence. They moved Yarran forward in the final quarter and Morris went with him.

Just watching the replay. No way Morris played a hard tag on Yarren for much of the game he was nowhere near him

You should take up comedy very funny stuff :rofl :rofl :rofl

Just cannot invest any more time in him and Gordon. Waste of time and the opportunity. Must see what others could do with the same chances these guys have been given.

It’s starting to become irresponsible of the club to persist with them. We are literally playing with 16 players when both of them are out there.

Am following all this from a distance and didn't see the game.
But just reading The Age online report by football writer Michael Gleeson who lists
"BEST: Richmond: Rance, Grigg, Deledio, Ellis, Riewoldt, Cotchin, Martin, Morris"

Well summed up as much as we want to get stuck into morris he completly blanketed Yarran

As Yarran was the defender you could argue he was best on by keeping his man to 3 touches.

Michael Gleeson from the Age named Stevie in the best :rofl

He obviously after seeing one of his 3 handballs flicked over to watch the cricket for the rest of the night & thought Morris is on fire & hence put him in the best

He didn't play on Yarran until the last quarter. Before then Yaran was just rotating through the forwards. Definitely no tag. Yarran was shocking by the way. Disinterested

Yarran has been playing crap this year so we waste the opportunity to capitalise by playing a guy on him who can't get one solitary kick in a whole 120 minute game of footy. Watched him quite a bit at the ground and he's just totally reactive, he has no perception at all of where the ball is going to be next so when he sees the ball go left 3 seconds later he runs left, the ball is gone by then. The same pattern all night. No wonder he only managed 3 disposals, 3 tackles, 0 1ers yet 2 clangers (frees against). You could stand in one spot on the ground all night without moving and have more influence on a game. When's Ellis back? Morris has to go.

Couldn't have been the handball that missed his team mate from 2 metres away.
