Steve Morris F/S

Almost a unique player in that he's better without ball in hand than with.

;D

Thought his split second late to arrive at contests and tackles was exceptional tonight. And when a tackle stuck, it was 50 to Nick Nat

Watched Morris closely tonight at the ground. He has absolutely no idea whatsoever in the forward line. Didn't have an opponent most of the time, Weagles didn't care if he was loose, they killed him on the rebound. Half a second late to every contest, the ball is already gone by the time he applies those pressure plays he supposedly is famous for. An absolute liability.

if Morris were to be de-listed at the end of the season, would there be any other AFL club that would recruit him?

Cant be delisted, they gave him a 3 year contract.

Maybe he'll be better suited at the smaller SCG? We haven't really played well at home all year.

Wasn't a bad game for him. He played his role and will keep his spot.

That's gotta be a joke. He was rubbish. Better suited to backline though if he must play. NFI forward.

If tonights game is the standard we expect from him (and from the coach) then God help us.

Liability, and whats his role that he played tonight? maybe it was to run around like a crazy lunatic 3 seconds late to every contest. Hes mastered that for sure.

Or maybe the Little League at half time? The ground is only 1/3rd size.

Maybe.. the smaller ground and closer proximity to other players should mean he is only 1/3 of a second late to every contest.

He will be worse at the smaller SCG. Working in confined spaces isnt a strongsuit, though im not sure what is.

His role is auto selection each week.

He got auto select for his game against the dockers but he was god awful tonight . He was not however Robinson Crusoe . Really poor effort by our boys tonight need ro hit back hard against the swans

Hey, let's be fair here, he did get his season high disposals of 12......
