Steve Morris F/S

Morris applies pressure, he's even pretty good at it. But I don't think he's even the best defensive pressure forward at Richmond, and wouldn't be in the top 10 in the AFL. Meanwhile, when we are attacking he might be the least useful small forward in the AFL.

That's the thing - he's not. I've now watched the whole Essendon game and the 2nd half of the Collingwood game, specifically watching Morris. His 'pressure acts' nearly always come after the damage has been done by his opponent. His ability to positively impact a contest is basically non existent. Anyone, and I do mean anyone, could provide the team with what he provides.

Yep this.

I too have watched the winning replays with both eyes and mind wide open for the argument of latent pressure. I am sorry I just cant see what some others see. For mine he arrives too late in most instances and the few positive things he has done could have been done, if not bettered by numerous others given an equally generous go. Morris' continued selection = a true mystery.

Apparently Steves work can only be seen at the ground, the TV doesn't show it......

Appropriate eyewear is needed. The optical assisters are colored rose.

Yep. Doing well and it's expected of him. I just want him to top it off with some goals.

Yep - hope it continues.

Q2: 1 mark, 1 goal, 2 kicks, 3 handballs.

Total of 9 disposals, double his 2015 game ave of 4.3. Good stuff.
