Sorry tonight he didn't get it right. Last week was his best game, this week he was back to playing Where's Wally. He is clueless in the forward line. At least in the backline he can be led to the ball, in the forward line he's completely loss. Can't understand why we're persisting with this forward defender deal. Morris is not capable of performing this role.

I can't recall a time when we've been playing reasonable footy, where we have gifted a player with such (skills) with so many games.

Did any of his critics watch the vfl the past couple of weeks? Morris isn't being gifted a game ... unfortunately there is nobody in the vfl worthy of replacing him!

He didn't get the mark and goal right? Thought he did.

As for the rest of his game, didn't show much. Who was he playing on?
Easendons no. 12 for a fair bit. He is so good i dont know who he is. I admire you sticking up for this bloke. Seriously

Another Morris esque event, wonderful enthusiasm at the contest just a tad too after the contestable moment has occurred. Does anyones else feel that we are one fwd down compared to our opposition each week. i appreciate the dilemma the selection panel are in. Lloyd brings goal sense without the fwd pressure, Gordon an odd blend of pressure and nous, but neither in large doses. Morris seems to have no responsibility to score. Perhaps a dilemma for the match committee and they are just waiting for Drummond, Ellis, et al to come on.

a couple of pressure acts ...

and not much else.

Lennon or McDonagh should be in this role to create, not to defend.

If we're going to commend every player for every act they get right on the field, it's going to be a very boring PRE. Single acts, like taking ONE mark and kicking ONE goal doesn't warrant special focus. I'm only interested in his game form and his consistency over a year. His game form was once again woeful. 7.1 disposals a game and .3 goals for a small forward just doesn't do it for me. If his defensive stats were superb then you'd give him leeway but 3.7 tackles and 1.7 1%ers is not that either. Watched him again last night a bit closer and he's always where the ball's not and when it does come to him he gets tackled. How many times was he wrapped up last night. He would have felt warmer than in bed with a doona and two extra blankets he was cuddled so much. Time to go if we're serious.....
