Five years ago Wallace was just topping up with duds, playing for the now, trying to keep his job

Makes me think how far we've come since the likes of Benny Gale and Dimma have arrived.
Wouldn't want to be back there for quids.

LOL. Did we really get away with that? Why would GWS do that? They have 24 picks in the top 20 anyway.

Nice work if true.

Couldn't be Sheedy doing his old club/son of former teammate a favour, could it?

Perhaps we're eyeing someone from left field with our first pick. Makes for one extra delisting...

Did his Knee and needed a Reco prior to being drafted, turned a lot of clubs away, he took a while to recover and is only now starting to play some good footy.

To be completely Machiavellian, the Tigers now haven't nominated Morris F/s.

If GWS turned around and didn't do the deal we would be stuffed and Port could get Morris with their second round pick.

I am sure they would have some type of heads of agreement.

Would be very surprised if GWS back out now, would have to be confident not to nominate him in father-son

Why would GWS back out of the deal though?

They obviously have no interest in Morris, and this way they get something for nothing. If they back out of the deal, then either they will draft Morris themselves, in which case why talk to us in the first case, or another club will grab him and they get nothing.

The only other possibility is if another club offers them something better for pick 15 than what we are. But given they have a whole raft of picks in the first round, I can't see this being a factor.

Handshake agreement has been made.

GWS wouldn't be so stupid as to back out now. Will be signed off on Monday.

Correct me if I am wrong but you have seen one game? Will go on what the RFC have seen and his efficiency %.
Two games. Misses targets under no pressure. Misses handballs that are longer than 5 metres.

I think he would have to satisfy FJ's criteria on kicking. Most recruiters now have the capability to look at the efficiency of EVERY kick of the targeted player.

Well I'd say that easily 80% of his kicks haven't hit a target.
