Steve Morris F/S

Not often you get to see a deal that everyone gets something out of. Morris gets to come to us which he would have indicated he wanted to. We get a player we want without actually expending a pick. GWS get a slightly earlier pick and lastly Williams gets some payback on Port.

This is a really smart move by the Tiges but I just don't understand why GWS is doing it ?

There has to be a reason they agreed to it .

Which game did u watch? vs Willy or Ainslie? The Willy game he stunk it up the very first play from memory totally mis-judged the flight of it and Hooper marked over the back. He's quick and hard, and id say he is a good kick, not elite by any stretch but he does a fair bit of their kick-ins if that is any indication on his abilities.

Personally I wouldn't even know if we can nominate him before Friday.

Willie game,,,,

Looks ok so long as he ends up a decent player and a superstar isn't drafted with pick 14.

Some stats & blurb from this season.

Finally we start to operate as a smart club. One pick down the order and have grabbed a kid that could just be a player. Well done Richmond. Now keep it going.

One can only imagine what we would have given up if Miller was still in charge!! :-[

So port were keen ,offered their third round pick,to screw us into using our 2nd round pick father sun,if we were to get him.

We then trade one spot,to GWS sydney, for him,he is now ours, and we still have our second pick, that we would have had to give up to get him.

I would say that is checkmate,.

Suffer in your jocks port.....

Grigg for collins.

Priority for tambling.

Houli for free.

Morris for one spot less in draft.

I can sense a trend here.

Maric for PDS free?

Keep them coming tigers,,,,,,

I guess we'll see. Maybe GWS also have their eye on an already established player.

That carlton, port, crows, bummers that will all be heading for the door when we head to their table for any further talks talks next week.

Nifty little deal, we obviously like him a little bit to go to this trouble. A good sign considering he has trained with us and we already have a pretty good idea of what he will bring.

Was just talking to a friend of mine who reckons GWS were delighted to shaft Port Adelaide after they forced them to pay for Brogan and Cornes . :)

Might be a sign of things to come in regards to trade week.In bed with GWS certainly wouldn,t harm us. ;D

If this trade goes through it means there is no point in us muigs getting angry or happy over rumoured trades because we really have no clue what the club is doing.

But looking at last years trades and if this one is true, you've got to give thje clib the benefit of the doubt.

Never seen him play but he already in front of Farmer.

Would be in front of both. Though Dea may have a huge pre-season and has more development in him.

And lol that they wanted to shaft Port. hahahaha

This year and last the club (Craig Cameron couldn't have anything to do with it could he!?!) hasn't put a foot wrong... yet.

Reckon Farmer will be nervously awaiting the delisting deadline.
