Appalling player. Simply can't mark, kick or handball. Apart from that he's fine :( Maybe even rivals Richard Lounder for uselessness.

Has to be the worst mark I've seen in a tall player in 30 years of going to AFL/VFL. What a waste of a trade. Right up there with McMahon & Schulz/Farmer debacles.

Drop him & play Vickery as a ruck until Maric comes back.

WHat was the rush to give pick 28 away. How can the premiers pick up Mcevoy while we get Hampson. I don't get it.

I couldn't believe it when it happened. They bolted out and wasted a 2nd rounder on a bloke that would've been close to being delisted.
Then a week later hawthorn rip a trade to get McEvoy
That's the difference they get Burgoyne we get grigg, they get gunstan we get knights, they get McEvoy we get Hampson :rofl
And these people get paid to make these decisions

Played the whole game today and took ZERO marks!!!! This bloke is absolutely useless.

Second round pick for a ruckman that can't mark; only at RFC.

Disgraceful.

Which begs the question - why do we apparently not have the cap space to chase better players?

To pick up McEvoy we would have had to trade our first rounder, it had nothing to do with cap space.

That's fine, but does it make it better that we throw away 2nd or 3rd rounders.
We need quality we don't need other clubs trash.
And don't get me started about salary cap issues. We have 4 players worth more the 500 and the rest should be under300

Can't see Hampson lining up in the circle to take the first bounce in the Tigers next grand final appearance.
Then again, maybe not too many of the current players will be around either to be part of that experience.

Question for mr Brendan Gale....who is making the football decisions?.....who's idea to trade a second round draft pick for a player with flaws?.....who's idea to let Matt White go or even decide not to play him in the same role as he is at Port?....who decided to recruit players like Thomas when his kicking is average at best and has no leg speed?....seems the important football decisions are unfortunately the wrong ones again for the RFC.....you want us to be patient....you want our money....but hey...who is responsible for these poor decisions?.....time for change..again!!....

this club continues to be the laughing stock of the AFL

*smiling* pathetic football player.

18 possies and no marks in 3 weeks from a ruck man.

Are you *smiling* serious?! what a joke

Then why give away a pick for him

Why on earth did we go for this guy ??? I've never seen him take a mark..hardly gets a kick...
Meanwhile..hawks ,in their true style, got tough and landed mccavoy

How come we couldn't get tough..ruthless and go for mccavoy last year?

All conservative and *smile* weak, farting around to add another clubs hack to our growing list of hacks

By god we better get tough at the end of this year when it comes to recruiting.

Knowing our philosophy we will end up with jack watts

Do you honestly think Stephenson would be any better?
