Thought he rucked well while he was on. Will offer plenty.

His best position is clearly the ruck and the new rules will suit him down to the ground. With his impressive leap and huge wingspan he'll be the perfect foil for Maric.

Exactly. Did sweet FA around the ground.
Just bring back ottens

Yes they did. Looks as though Orren's shelf life might have expired unfortunately.

He's fine as a cheap 3rd string. Big O is what he is.

The drop off was noticeable because Hampson was so good in the ruck.

What a waste of an early pick. Got out bodied on many occasions by the bigger ruckman. All these top ups are starting to play out like the Frawley years!

You are right TOO.

The positive from last night is that Griffiths showed he is more than capable in the ruck meaning Orren drops to fifth in line behind Maric, Hampson, Vickery and Griffiths.

I have to agree. Too many recycles for my liking.
Our drafting after the first round is still terrible.
We have missed so many quality players even with early 2nd rounders.

Not a bad first run with the boys, blew out some cobwebs after so long between games....bit more aggression with tht frame would be awesome

taps to advantage were good.

Keeping an open mind on whether he was a good bet at this stage. He certainly looks the part, thats for sure. Absolute beast. If he can be more useful around the ground we are on a winner.

One thing is for certain, big orren has pretty much had it. Fourth stringer at best.

Contrasting his half of football with Orren's last night was pretty obvious that Hampson is a far better option than the Big O.

iVan and the HamperVan with Plasma and the Griffin as second rucks isn't a bad ruck dept. add in the Big O as the 5th and we're pretty deep.

Hampson looked good in Tigers stripes last night but that was all. Waddled around like a stuffed duck. Can see Megan dahling spending a lot of time this year on game day at Punt Road Oval. Mickey Maltinghouse must have had a grin from ear to ear when Hampson cleared out his locker at Princess Park.

The Hamper showed a lot more grunt against the Maggots which the Tigers will need if Maric does not come up.
