Didn't we smash the Saints??

My memory may be playing me false here, but the first time we played St Kilda last year Jack kicked 7 goals and the second time we won by 64 points. Clearly McEvoy had a major influence on both results.zippadeee said:Is that a trick question?
People have short memories, if you want see McEvoy watch the game against us. He was BOG bya mile.

99.9% of people would take McEvoy over Hampson.
You must be the .01% :rofl

So by putting weight to what some saints supporters think makes Hampson trade look better? But you scoff at the posters here who werent appreciative of the Hampson trade? This Is Anfield said:Listening to the Saints supporters on SEN this arvo, they are off the same opinion.
Views divided but more happy to see him go than I would have thought!
Hampson trade looking better by the minute!

fair enough too. I like to be objective and whilst the recruiting has vastly improved I'm not one to blindly agree with everything the recruiters do. I didn't like this trade at all but I hope and pray Hampson stars for us.This Is Anfield said:Never scoffed, just had a different perspective!
I originally voted no!
My whole stance has been trusting the club to do their homework & I feel their recent performance gives them plenty of credits.
When Shaun joined my immediate reaction was to give him my support & find the positives in the Trade.
I will scoff at those posters whose EVERY post is critical of the club, it's staff & players.
And on reflection & taking on board reactions from varied places (radio, papers & this forum) I find myself liking this trade more & more.

Interesting. Considering most on here would claim that Eevan had a pretty average sort of year due to groin niggles, it doesn't lend much credence to anyone claiming we stuffed up by not paying double or more to get McEvoy instead of the cheap Hamster.tigertim said:Mcevoy stats pretty similar to Ivan's.
