Exactly right. It's just lucky he got injured this year, or Nank would be playing in the two's getting VFL quality clearances, and we'd be 1 and 6.
(assuming we could still beat Brisbane, even with the hammer handicap).

It took a bit of good fortune to highlight how useless the hit out stat, and by extension Hampson, is.

If only he hadn't actively been hindering us for the last two years while stealing development off others.
Unfortunately because we've paid Yarran out the club would be too embarrassed to do it to Hampy as well but he's the perfect example of a guy that needs to be "Capuanoed".

He's going to play little or no footy in '17 and will only play if Nanny (and which ever ruck we will surely recruit in the off season) is injured.

Even Soldo got 9 disposals in his first game. Hampy averages 8 a game.

Fairly certain that if Hampson had been playing this season, Hardwick and his supporters would've had the wagons circling by now.

Yep I reckon that would've been the case too.

Nope, no way

Nankervis is your typical Hardwick love child as a player. Hard and competitive

I have little doubt Nankervis was and still is the number 1 ruck choice of the Coach even if Hammer was fit.

Yeah. Hampson only played because Eevahn was cooked. Dimma would be loving Tankervis' work right now I reckon.

The sh!ttest trade ever in the history of this club.

Not even close. Dirty Sanchez still one of the worst ever in modern times. Yarran has to be #1 for what we paid vs what he produced for us.

Doubt the Hapster makes the Top 10 of shittiest trades ever

McMahon won us a game off his own boot and landed us Martin.

Legend.

Yeah Yarran puts McMahon in the shade. Worst trade I can remember.

Funny when you think back how much flack Wallace took for that yet Hardwick has copped little for that ballsup.

Maybe because no supporters really wanted mcMahon but quite a few thought the Yaz trade was ok.

Haven't exactly been a fan of the Hamster over the time we've had him, but I was just wondering if you could perhaps explain which ruck men Hamster was stealing vital development off over the last two years?

More to do with Wallace being the obvious mastermind and sponsor behind the Sanchez trade. It was his personal trade.

I reckon the Yarran trade was a mindmeld at RFC. Plenty of people deserve blame for not predicting the future.

Also the fact Sanchez wasn't that good a player. Yarren, at his best, was near elite.

The difference is that people saw McMahon and he was clearly not performing relative to what he cost. Nothing annoys supporters like having a week by week reminder of the player's inadequacies.

Yarran was a failure of due diligence/judgement on his character. That is a case where the club should have know something but supporters could not of.

Had Yazzy actually fronted fit and healthy in mind and body and ready to play as he has shown he can he wouldv'e been a great get for the RFC.

But as always when it comes to the RFC it seems there are always a never ending procession of Ifs, Buts, What Ifs, If Onlys, and Maybes involved.

McMahon did play a lot of good games for the dogs but not for us although there were a few glimpses.

The main thing about McMahon was that he was the kind of player that most posters and many football followers hate. Seen as soft and skilful. Willing to take risks off the back flank that are brilliant when they come off but often don't.

Yarran was the perfect player we needed at the time.

And until today we desperately still need a Yarran type on our list. That's why I am a big advocate for getting Zac Jones.

Yeah he is a dud. A typical hack that Richmond targeted!

Our recruiters are cockeyed. They couldn't spot talent even if it landed on their laps.
Our drafting/recruiting/list mangerment is why we have been the laughing stock for the last 35 years
Why keep him on the list? Cut your losses and *smile* him off

This bloke will never ever be any bloody good , Cant believe they gave him an extension

Whats more amazing is he has had a 10 year career in AFL
